Why does Trump support Putin for the Russian espionage of our elections?
Isn’t the answer obvious?
Yes.
I pretty much expected this from Trump.
I just hope he doesn’t give the Russians their compounds back or relax sanctions or anything else not nailed down.
“Sen. Robert Warner (D-VA), the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee…”
Oh my G-d, the Russians have replaced the ranking Dem on the Intel committee with some guy named Bob!
Clearly, the infiltration is worse than any of us even dared imagine…
I never did understand why anyone wanted Trump to bring up the election with Putin in this meeting. To what end? Like Trump would castigate Putin for electing him, even if Trump hadn’t colluded with him, and he did.
What did anyone expect from this meeting but what we’re getting?
Let’s face facts: Trump is selling out America - with the emphasis on SELL.
And none dare call it Treason.
We’re right next to being a Russian satellite state.
I’m not kidding.
I remember a time when both Democrats AND Republicans cared about the integrity of our Electoral System.
But I’m pretty old.
Let’s face it, the Asshole-elect probably spent most of the meeting on his knees polishing Putin’s putter. Sad.
“Pres. Blimp wimped out.” “He was weak.” “He lost to Putin.”
Those are the phrases I want to hear from Democratic leadership.
Over at The Guardian I just saw the photos of the big dinner at the Elbphilharmonie — Mel is seated next to Pootie. I suppose some will chalk it up to her speaking Russian, having grown up under a Soviet regime.
Of course, it’s also a nice and harmless way to have a congratulatory conversation with her handler…
So they couldn’t say it “hadn’t occurred to them” or some such lame excuse. Calling it out beforehand makes it all the more glaring even though Trump the Treasonous was never going to call the Russians out for their obvious collusion.
I just hope he doesn’t give the Russians their compounds back or relax sanctions or anything else not nailed down.
Or a list of prominent American judges and journalists he’d like Putin to “take care of.”
I understand the psychology of calling him out before hand. Makes sense.
And that the investigations must be independent because it now appears even more likely that Trump is a traitor.
I remember a time when Republicans thought being a Russian satellite would be a bad thing.
Maybe they should start the goddamn investigation. You can’t tell me the NSA, CIA, FBI does not have the evidence that will fry 99.9 % of this potus and administration.
