Discussion for article #234732

Fabulous, but Cotton could still have a Ouija board…

Meh.

Flaccid and insipid stunt not even worth the thousands of dollars if costs us to file bills.

Hey I thought it was hilarious. And it’s got as good a chance of becoming law as any other bill that will get filed in this Congress.

Cotton had better get his letter to Kim Jong-un off before this bill gets passed.

On one hand, it is hard to disagree, and that this is a little childish. On the other hand when my son’s were 3 or 4 years old, I had to reason with them on their level. Or if you are dealing with an asshole in a business relationship that your kind of stuck with, you sometimes have to act like an asshole to send the message, if you don’t like dealing with an asshole, stop acting like one.

The cost in a $3.5 trillion budget is a non-issue.

I’d be way more impressed if she just punched him in the nuts repeatedly until she got tennis elbow.

Sort of clever, but ineffective and merely engaging in the “sport” of out of control politics. Aside from that, one cannot legislate a cure for stupidity.

She (or her staff) actually spelled it “stationary.” Ugh.

I like your plan it’s simple, direct, and with beating about the bush so to speak.

(Like! To get that outta’ the way.)

But a formal censure would at least have an official response in the Senate record.

I agree. So annoying. Don’t they do this for a living?!

Notice the author of this article didn’t correct it either with a [sic], so that’s a two-fer.

It’s a [sic]-ness.

That’ll happen under McTurtle’s leadership about as much as Orangeman will order an investigation into which House Representatives were leaked information by Israeli officials about the Iran negotiations prior to Bibi’s clusterfuck before Congress.

How about mandating a “time out” sitting on a stool, facing the corner to the left of the Leader’s podium?

ASL, just like Koko uses.

I noticed that, too, but is it possible the writer meant “stationary” as in a stationary device such as a computer?

Or is that a reach?

Great comments. ALL of them. What’s wrong with system?

I’d rather the couple of thousands of dollars that was wasted even filing this be spent on funding a families food stamps.
