Computers would be covered under “electronic devices.”
Nah, I wanna see Mikulski do that on her way out. Bet she can throw the hardest punch in the Senate; and her height gives her perfect leverage.
Unfortunately, this “bill” is just as stupid as 98% of the laws and resolutions passed in the Republican-controlled house. I get the comments about dealing with children at their level, but since irony is completely lost on the Republicans, this was pointless.
How about a bill/resolution to have the Justice Department look into the action of the letter itself in violation of the Logan Act and if so, prosecute all 47? Not that the Republicans would let it pass, but for me that would be a more effective “statement.”
Understood.
But if Sen Stabenow finds the ability to draft a bill to blunt the capability legislatively?
I’d truly like a similar effort to make her objection in the record-- whether or not it is ever effected.
Otherwise-- it’s as much a PR stunt as some of the horsesh^t ®s throw into bills.

Rather than file the amendment, she should take a copy of it and staple it to his forehead, using one of those heavy duty staple guns with 1/2" staples.
In response to this, Senator Cotton remarked, “Oh, she’s harmless. She’s as harmless as one of those stuffed birds.”
Possible headline: “Bruiser” Mikulski Cockpunches Soft Cotton.
I suspect you’re going to need a powder-acutated nail gun to get any penetration.
Now I’ve seen some HGTV episodes where they use the .22cal ‘hammer’ to insert nails into concrete, I believe.
Is that similar?

We can dream, we can dream. . . . .
Is that a “Psycho” reference? I like it!
C’mon – it’s Caitlin.
Not an Ass hole but a Traitor
That’s the one. Uses a blank cartridge. One of those tools that seem to come up a lot in the cases you read in torts class.
Would that then be TEN-nis elbow, or PE-nis elbow?
Given that the [sic] mark, at least from my understanding, is suppose to indicate that the misspelling was in the original document, wouldn’t its absence seem to indicate that the error was on the part of the author of the article transcribing the quote?
Perhaps we could combine that with Ralph_Van Holst’s suggestion and she could repeatedly shoot him in the nuts with a nail gun?
Both, being an asshole and a traitor are not mutually exclusive.
That action just might qualify as conduct unbecoming to the decorum of the Most August Senate, and the gentlelady from Michigan might feel some repercussions. Other than that: I second the motion.
Bingo!
