I agree. I figured she was a wind up toy.
There comes a point when the GOP’s reflexive opposition to anything supported by Democrats - or liberals, or just anyone who’s not a hardcore conservative - is going to lead them to oppose some real no-brainer, basic-humanity issues. That they think anyone but hardcore conservatives are going to look at this opposition with anything but disgust is a sign of just how far gone they are.
