Tuesday night’s result is the latest sign of a building Democratic wave,
Suck it, Trump. We’re going to give you the best-deserved impeachment any shithole President ever got.
This is huge…Lamb getting close would have made Republicans worry, but they would have been able to spin it away. Lamb winning they can’t, and it adds to Democratic momentum which will make a difference in the fall. 119 Republicans are in districts more blue than this one, and every single one now has to worry about what’s coming. Add in that the Trump show is getting even more insane, the soon to be exposed House cover up of Trump bad behavior, the upcoming Mueller investigation results, and a likely economic turndown because of the tariff war Trump has started (plus the tax cut making no difference in this race), and Republicans are in serious danger of a massive blowout because of low participation on their end. They just won’t have a lot of enthusiasm, and there isn’t someone to hate that will drag them all to the polls like what happened with Hillary.
Democrats need to get someone into every race in the nation, because that’s the only way to get our government back from the radical forces that have taken it over at all levels. Democrats also need to find candidates who fit the demographics of the election…a left wing liberal never would have won this race, Lamb is middle of the road (but will vote with the Democrats when it counts). The Democrats need to win at least one house of Congress, and really need to push hard for the Senate to stop the Republican takeover of the court system. It’s all going to be hard, but it’s possible if they charge in and do it, and don’t fight over who is “liberal enough”.
I’m loving Trump’s reverse coattail effect. I suspect not too many Republicans will invite him to campaign for them in the fall.
After his despicable rant Saturday night, calling people “low IQ”, “Lamb the sham”, “sleepy eyed son of a bitch”, etc., I’m glad to see this comeuppance.
It’ll be even sweeter if Saccone pays for a recount and still loses; more GOP money down the sewer.
And it’s not like unpopularity makes him behave better.

Agreed, and in every single Congressional race, the Democratic candidate needs to start asking very loudly and very publicly not just about Republican efforts to cover for Trump’s collusion, but if the Russians also aided the GOP candidates in 2016 races.
Tomorrow, trump won’t know who Saccione is and will swear up and down he did not campaign for him.

Only 1400 absentee ballots left in total, and Lamb leads by 579 votes. Lamb has also been outperforming his Election Day totals with the absentee ballots already counted, so barring a virtual mathematical impossibility suddenly occurring, or some blatant cheating, it’s over — Lamb wins.
