Discussion: DCCC Chair To Help Anti-Abortion Dem Fundraise Amid Severe Abortion Laws

Seriously?

They aren’t just threatening. They are doing it.

Hey, never let a little thing like logic get in the way of a good Anti-Choice platform!

True pro-lifers would also be the first ones to provide sex-ed, health insurance, childcare, benefits for parents, etc.

And also be the anti-war group, to prevent those precious lives from being ended too soon.

My advice to the anti-abortionist is not to have an abortion. I know it’s a man but what business is it of his?

Thank you.

Yep.

This is an example of why I never give money to the Democratic Incumbency Protection Committee. I send money to candidates that I like, and want to support directly.

…be anti-capital punishment.

And to be fair, some are.

But most aren’t.

If you don’t support a woman’s right to choose, unequivocally, you are not a Democrat. Full stop.

You asked me exactly the same question a month ago. I answered it then!

I’m so glad - affirmed, really - in my decision not to give the DCCC any money.

…And adequately fund education and teachers…

…And take care of the climate, to provide clean air, water and livable conditions…

Really could do this one all day…

I can understand his/her incredulousness! :grinning:

See those prices?

I suspect because in the end it is really all about controlling women, and not so much in protecting fertilized eggs. For IVF, there is no woman to dominate, and so no fun in it for them.

DCCC is now a non-entity as far as I’m concerned. Ceasing all donations and removing myself from all DCCC mailing lists.

Yawn. Dems always find it easier to go after other Dems than to go after Republicans, the true source of the problem. It shows weakness and softness which the GOP takes advantage of to ram through permanent minority rule. Build some character Dems. Focus on the target.

This. Party fucking discipline. The Republicans understand that, that’s why they fucking own the Supremes now.

Here’s the infuriating thing. Lipinski is in a solid blue district IL3. But as people have noted he’s got a primary challenger in liberal Democrat Marie Newman, who came very close to defeating him in the last primary. So that $1000 per plate, is going to defending his seat against a liberal Democrat. That reply from Smith: ā€œpromise to stand behind all of our incumbents in their campaigns…and she believes in keeping our focus on defeating Republicans.ā€ In 2018 the Republicans Party couldn’t even find anyone to run against Lipinski, and some neo-Nazi scooped up the Republican nomination. You don’t need $1000/plate fundraisers for ā€œkeeping our focus on defeating Republicansā€ in IL3. Throw her, Newman, some cash I say.

Good details, thanks. Nothing wrong with a good purge of disloyal members, IMHO.

I usually agree with you. Not this time.
