Doublethink: it’s what’s for dinner.
I wonder how the lawyer’s daughter feels about his hypocrisy?
The cognitive dissonance here is making my head hurt.
Why is this guy so popular with one-percenter gays/guys with gay children? Is it that the rest of the GOP pack of bigots can’t play the grifter game right?
It’s all a game to the wealthy, innit?
The disconnect with these people is effing mind-blowing.
“Rights for Me (and Mine) – None for You (and Yours).”
Wonder if the daughter gets a say in whether her marriage should be used as political clothing for Ted.
…in case you were ever confused about whether or not the wealthy lived in the same world as the rest of us.
Ted Cruz should demonstrate that he is a man of principle and return the money he raises at the gay hoteliers’ fundraiser and at Debra and Charles Cooper’s residence. Taking money from such folks is a violation of Ted and Heidi Cruz’s wonderful chirstyrannical religulous values and would be immoral.
You’re right. Cruz should demonstrate that he is a man of principle and return every dime he raises directly or indirectly from gays.
I suggest spreading the word on that.
Well, there goes my theory that all these porcine prevaricators think about is themselves. They can’t even muster the wits to do that.
Lawyers will take any position for money; politicians will take any side for votes. Yet when the rest of us do something similar we are called hypocrites. Some pigs are more equal than others.
Ted Cruz . . . .man of principle . . .values and morals. Talk about cognitive dissonance!
LOL. Well, now you do make a valid point there.
Sure she does: she’s no doubt in control of the invites. It’s as simple as this: “Dad, it’s me or that smarmy fucking bigot. Choose.”
Not the same as hypocrisy to argue a legal position. It is the lawyer’s job to advocate regardless of personal belief. Even bad people are entitled to legal defense/advocacy… Now how he could be a Republican supporting Cruz knowing what it must be like for his daughter to be openly gay, I agree with you it is incomprehensible.
Rights for me and not for thee.
If they need equal rights, they have enough money to just buy them.
The invite’s spelling of Washington leaves something to be desired.
