“…But that is something that you see kings and queens doing of their subjects. …”

Actually, Alberta Rafael, it is what dictators and would-be dictators do. I would challenge you to show where any modern-day constitutional monarch acts like this. See - you missed a chance to call Drumpf what he really is - a would-be dictator.

The GOP, right wing talk radio and Fox News are largely responsible for Trump’s success and the Tea Party’s influence on the Republican Party.

So Ted, now that you are a distant second, you are ‘troubled’?

Anymore, Rubio’s happy if anybody just shows up for one of his rallies.

Cruz: I am really sorry that I didn’t do this first with my supporters. If they had pledged to support me, they would have never shifted to Trump or anyone else. Also, I took a pledge to support Donald if he is the nominee.

Anymore, Rubio’s happy if anybody just shows up for one of his rallies. Cruz is too busy assuming anybody who went to somebody else’s events misread directions to his own self-love fest.

"This is America. We don’t pledge allegiance to a man. We pledge allegiance to a flag. We pledge our support for the Constitution.

Actually, this is also a lie. Cruz believes, if you look at his policy positions, that we pledge allegiance to his version of the Christian God.

Cruz doesn’t need mere mortals to pledge an oath to him – after all, he is God’s chosen one.

“We don’t pledge allegiance to a man.” What about his father’s insistence that an imaginary man talks to his son and that we must all bow down in allegiance to this imaginary god.

What about our entire Congress pledging allegiance to Norquist and his tax pledges. There were so many pledges taken by Congress in the past few years they have forgotten who they are working for and who pays their salaries.

Pledges are the “fan clubs” of our times. Besides Congress pledging against America and it’s citizens, we have law enforcement agents “pledging” allegiance to rogue groups like the Bundy’s and whatever “takeover” conspiracy bug they get up their butts all the while continuing to take salaries and benefits from the same government they want to overthrow.
Do they think the grateful citizens are going to support them while their anarchies reign?

Fuck Crusader Cruz. He’s just pissed Drumpf supporters didn’t all pledge their fidelity to Jesus’s self-appointed spokesperson by way of Lonesome Rhodes Cruz.

From a thing called the “National Religious Liberties Conference” last November Cruz said this:

Any president who doesn’t begin every day on his knees isn’t fit to be commander-in-chief of this country.

So apparently, the kind of solemnity Cruz deems necessary in terms of an all-important religious test to becoming President of the US, is a prerequisite to running the country, particularly as it concerns all “Jesus-Americans”. And let that be a lesson to us all…

You can’t put country first when either your religious dogma or your need to be venerated as “the leader” blinds you to your primary civic responsibilities. As far as I can tell, both men cancel each other out. They are both lying, stinking frauds, who stink to high Heaven.

PS- I see we’re still having problems with the commenting system…still looking for that missing code or something?

I think Cruz is much more scary than Trump. The only answer to being free of this dangerous nonsense from both of them is to “pledge” to vote for a Democrat.

Cruz “troubled” about one thing that happens at Trump rallies?

When the Titanic was going down, I don’t think the word “troubled” came to its passengers’ minds. Yet Trump represents the Titanic to the GOP party… And there are a great deal many things that Cruz should find “troubling” or more precisely “horrifying” about Trump rallies.
