I’d like to know what’s the difference between Cubans fleeing persecution then getting automatic citizenship and Mexican or Central American fleeing even worse persecution?

Old man Cruz paid a bribe in Cuba, in 1957 to come to the states! Rafael didn’t become a US citizen until 2005 or 48 years after illegally entering this country!

I am so shocked to learn that the Repubs in Congress are not going to confirm anymore Obama nominations until they have the votes to refuse to confirm any more Obama nominations. This really blindsided me. Who could possibly have predicted such a response?

If Sen. Cruz thinks that now-lame-duck Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) will delay any consideration of President Obama’s nominee to succeed Attorney General Eric Holder until after the new Republican-controlled Senate is sworn in next January, he’s smoking crack.
Cruz will hold out until Obama appoints Alberto Gonzales so that he can re-open his investigation into why US attorneys aren’t indicting enough Democrats.
