Discussion: Cruz Introducing Resolution To Impeach Holder If He Doesn't Investigate IRS Scandal

Discussion for article #224407

It doesn’t work that way just because you think it should.

Dumbass.

This is just a way to distract from Ted Cruz!

There. is. no. IRS. scandal.

Republicans have wasted several million dollars investigating a dead end.

Republicans complain about democrats spending (wasting) money on social programs.

They spend it on witch hunts.

To call this a witch hunt, is an insult to witches. More like a snipe hunt.

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) then objected to the resolution on behalf of Senate Democrats.

“I have to question whether bringing in a special prosecutor would be a good use of taxpayer money in this case,” Wyden said.

Dear Sen. Wyden, Ted Cruz shut down the government last fall, at a cost of some $24B. Do you really think he cares about wasting taxpayer money?

Evidently Teddy hasn’t been getting enough attention lately, and Boehner already picked on Obama, so here we go.

Supposed “witches” were innocent too.

Since the Senate is the court that would try a potential impeachment, by pre-judging such a matter that could come before the Senate, isn’t Cruz violating the Constitution?

That was the Dem senator’s point, Cruz’s history of wasting money on non issues.

The scandal is that Tea Party groups, which are political parties are given tax exemptions as “social welfare and educational” groups. How many hungry folks did they feed? How many homeless did they house? Can I get a college scholarship from my local Tea Party?

By the way, the same is true of political groups on the Left. They should also be denied tax exemptions.

I must admit, that made laugh.

When Ted “Carnival Cruise” puts Eric Holder and John Ashcroft in prison for War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity, then I’ll consider taking him seriously.

And not a New York Second before.

What do you have against snipes?

The next act has yet to arrive.

Then why were tea party groups the only ones that were granted that status?

Can you impeach someone who’s been appointed vs elected?

Sen. Cruz is invoking a little known clause in the U.S. Constitution: The Senate shall impeach any administration official if he fails to substantiate the paranoid rantings of Senate’s biggest lunatic – particularly applicable if the administration official is black.

All true Constitutionalist Tea Partiers are familiar with this clause.
