How do people like this get voted in to office? I usually shy away from calling people stupid, but some voters astound me. Cruz is one evil dude. Some of what he’s saying is correct, but he’s playing a cynical and despicable long game and everyone needs to know that and come together to make sure he never gets elected again. If someone like Cruz were to get his way, Christianity would become a very scary thing.

Most mass shootings are not Muslims, only a minority. Political correctness is not causing this and calling it what you want to call it does not fix anything. Not to mention, conservatives generally extend that to meaning nearly all Muslims as they see fit, drawing that line is hard.
Extreme beliefs are pointed to by nearly everyone, but the main goal still needs to be avoiding the appearance that the Islam is the target here, as that does nothing. Sounding big and tough only helps with the tip of the iceberg. What makes these people want to do this sort of thing in any sort of large numbers? There are always a minority that will but what is going on?
Is it that they are Islamic? Or is that many of the countries where nearly everyone is Islamic are also very poor regions that are often held back in part by state sponsored religion? It is just like in the US., economics is the cause of many problems in terms of large scale numbers. While it is not a good excuse for any one crime it is something that majorly needs to be worked on to avoid this sort of thing happening.
That should be the goal of the West and the Middle East. To me, the scariest thing about all of this is other middle eastern countries are still trying to ride the fence about all of this despite something evil being at their doorstep.

Is it true that there’s been a spike in posts to the FBI tips website from citizens heeding his call and turning in both Senator Cruz and Donald Trump?
Actually resident aliens are required to register. Or at least were under the rules in the 60s.
A cousin of mine was married to a Finnish citizen, they lived in California. He would not register. For a long time they lived in Vancouver. She is back in the US.

The Selective Service System has not now, or in the past, collected or shared any information which would indicate a man’s immigration status, either documented or undocumented. Selective Service has no authority to collect such information, has no use for it, and it is irrelevant to the registration requirement. Consequently, there is no immigration data to share with anyone.

Coming from the guy who campaigned with the “Kill the Gays” crowd one can see why everyone hates Ted Cruz. There is only one common thread among mass shootings and that is deranged individuals having easy access to firerams
