Discussion: Corker Says He Stands By Harsh Criticism Of Trump After Charlottesville

The only Republicans that make even a lick of sense are those out of office or about to leave office. For those of us who believe in good governance, Corker could be another wild card like McCain in the upcoming battles on taxes and immigration. Here’s hoping.

Time for Trump to reopen this theater of his endless online insult war.

He praised White House chief of staff John Kelly for introducing an “air of discipline.”

“I’m sorry sir, the Praise is not showing up on any of our instruments…”

DT “not yet been able to demonstrate the stability nor some of the competence that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful” and “has not demonstrated that he understands what has made this nation great,” which is why I vote in line with his position on all major policy and legislative issues.

Corker in August said Trump had “not yet been able to demonstrate the stability nor some of the competence that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful.”

I haven’t heard such a sternly-worded rebuke since Joe Lieberman apologized to Dick Cheney in their 2000 debate.

Now this is criticism. Harsh, but fair.

Trump in August lashed out at Corker for his criticism, which the President called a “strange statement.”

Now he would call it a “moore statement.”

OT: What is the “trick” for getting an image to show up in a post without its having to be clicked on and opened in a new window? Someone posted it here once. I tried changing the extension from .jpg to .png (as I thought that was the remedy, from what I could remember) and I even opened the JPEG and saved it as a PNG and uploaded that, but my image is still not showing up. Thanks.

Yeah, they are real profiles in courage! s/

It’s incredibly pathetic that it takes a planned retirement to allow a Repub to speak some semblance of truth.
