When you don*t run for re-election you can say what you like .

introducing an āair of discipline.ā
Still smells like sulphur to me.
Limit the largest dimension to 6.5 inches.
Opposite of that ā¦ it needs be a jpg ----
Heās setting himself up to primary Trump in 2020, so donāt look for any radical departures from Republican orthodoxy. Remember, the most āmaverickā āloose cannonā āwild cardā āindependentā Republican still votes with Trump 95% of the time.
Yep. An āair of discipline.ā No real discipline, but the air is there. And the air around the White House these days stinks.
eta, tiowally got there first. (I had a very wise, like you, uncle. But his name wasnāt Wally.)
Agreed. Now that he does not have to suck up to the party line, presumably (fingers crossed) he will vote for the American people, and betterment thereof, rather than all the BS division along party lines we have seen exponentially.
I donāt know what is coming, but with Triump who is unwilling to take responsibility for his actions, a GOP who desperately wants to push thru ways to pack the pockets of their wealthy donors, aka masters, and a GOP murder of voters that are obedient zombiesā¦ the only thing Iām pretty sure ofā¦
It will only get worse.
Perhaps. But I think this song pretty well describes those hopes.
Interesting, but I hope you didnāt have to slog through all those tweets yourself to pass this on.
No, I didnāt and wouldnāt make that slog through that particular swamp. A columnist at NYT did that work, I just absorbed it. Yuck.
Itās disgusting for someone who is president to not be able to say a kind or complimentary word about anyone around him whoās not named trumpp. The words I cited are not the only criticisms heās uttered. āOverratedā is another one, and always applied to someone whoās stellar in his or her field, e.g. Meryl Streep and āfailingā is in his top ten list usually applied to newspapers and magazines which criticize him, NYT, WaPo and Vanity Fair for exampleā¦
Projection on steroids.
Iām no shrink, but Iām going out on a limb to say that he has little self esteem doesnāt really like himself, and so has created this persona which comes off as confident, aggressive, all knowing (āI know more than the generalsā), has no regrets, but inside heās a quivering mass of Jell-O who thinks weāll believe the false front he displays.
