It’s time for Trump to make a special appearance and save this seat for Republicans.

I know it’s just one seat, but I truly think losing this district would send a message to the GOP and the Orange Shitgibbon. At least, i hope so.

“There is a real chance Democrat Jon Ossoff, who is dramatically outspending the rest of the field while the main GOP contenders turn on each other, could hit 50 percent on April 18 and avoid a runoff,”

Ignore the pundit and keep on keeping on, WIN the district!

I don’t want to get my hopes up too far, but, man, wouldn’t that just ice the cake??

I’m not sure why we’re also not paying more attention to TODAY’s (April 11) election in the 4th District in Kansas. It’s gone from solid blood red to “lean Republican” over the past few days. The Republicans are scared - in-person campaigning by Cruz, robocalls from Orange Donnie, and big money spent.

James Thompson, the Democrat running for CIA Director Mike Pompeo’s old seat, is a pretty solid progress, and he’s within striking distance in TODAY’s (April 11) special election. His campaign has a virtual phonebank link on his website, so there is still time to help get out the vote TODAY!

A poll released last week showed the former congressional staffer leading the race with 43 percent, trailed by Republicans Karen Handel and Bob Gray with 15 and 14 percent support, respectively.

Holy s----

Expect lots of dirty tricks in the last few days - looks like voter turnout will be key. Go Team Ossoff!

There was already a thread here about the dirty tricks, a few days ago.
Edit–maybe the 43 pct means the dt’s arent working. I hope so

Half of me is fearing that our best weapon is GOP complacency. Sad…

Yes, Ossoff needs to win in the primary, if it goes to the runoff he will likely loose. I am hoping that getting to the runoff will scare congressional republicans enough to stop carrying water for Trump and Ryan. After all I/ve lived in the district for 5 congressional election cycles, and most of those Price ran unopposed, and once against a guy that I never heard or saw a single lawn sign of him. Ossoff raised 3 million, in previous cycles they had trouble raising 30K,

Fraid to get my hopes up, but doing it anyway. GO OSSOFF!!!

As toxic as Trump is becoming, still 30% support him. I didn’t realize that the population of village idiots was so large.

I read that somewhere too. But I’m not sure how much predictive power those polls of theoretical runoff match-ups really have – voters may not really be focused on that decision yet, plus a lot can happen during the campaign, both within the campaign itself, and outside events (including whatever Trump-related horrors are in the news during that time). If he comes up short of 50% in the primary, then I guess we’ll find out.

Meanwhile, there’s another bellweather race going on right now. Unfortunately, only the Republicans seemed to notice this one.

Edited to add: @ken_k Hadn’t seen yours when I replied with this. So it goes with replying to the article up top. But, like you, I cannot believe this isn’t getting any attention.
