Kushner is the epitome of the rich guy’s son who’s given a business to run and runs it very, very poorly because he’s a dope. The job of everyone else in the business is to head off his worst ideas. I’ve had bosses like that and so have you. So this is bad news for sanity returning. The whole point, the one thing to realize, is that the Dems don’t want a “deal.” It’s simple reinforcement theory. You don’t reward a shutdown by giving the shutdowners something they want.
