And so it beginsâŚ
Oh boy hahaâŚhead on over to Faux in 10 minutes or so if youâd like to spend the rest of the week completely outraged. Theyâre going to go hog wild with this.
I thought the fact Comey made this admission in his opening statement was huge. Itâs a huge warning shot to Trump, IMO.
Half a loaf, but Iâll take it. Meanwhile, in Bizarro World:
âAs you know, our practice is not to confirm existence of ongoing investigations, especially those investigations that involve classified matters,â Comey told the committee.
Which clearly explains the letter about Weinerâs laptop sent two days before the electionâŚhope you do a better job this time, Mr. Comey.
Ummm. Hasnât this been going on since last summer? Wasnât it Comey that wouldnât sign off on the unanimous finding that Putin was messing with us back in September?
Trump: âSee, I told you Obama was spying on me. Sad!â
The only surprise is that the FBI is actually investigating these links. They must have cut the NYC office out of the loop on this one.
No fire so far, of course, but the sheer number of Trump campaign/Russian contacts creates enough smoke to choke a horse. Why were all of these people having little chats with the Russians? Was anyone from any other campaign engaging in similar communications?
I have to say, Schiff is doing a pretty good job so far.
LOLâŚtoo funnyâŚ
Has Trumpâs Twitter feed gone batshitâŚerrr, ummmmâŚbatshittier yet?
I have it on good authority that this is all fake news.
OK nowâŚwhat? When did this investigation START??? Is it going on because of the DOJ? Before or after Sessions took over? Is Trump going to tweet about the âdeep stateâ Obama operatives hiding in these departments? What about the watchers? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW.
The right wing doesnât do irony. Tomorrow Belongs to Me, indeed. We know how well that turned out for the Hitler Youth.
Donât give the guilty anymore info. It helps them frame their case, get their lies in order.
Trump: Comey is getting his orders from Hillary and Obama. They are scheming to take me down.
We need more of this. Nunes seems to want to juggle the facts and downplay trumPPâs claims.
Representative Adam Schiff of California, the committeeâs ranking Democrat, laid out the case that the Trump campaign was, at best, far too close to Russia â and far too eager to appease Moscow on Ukraine and other issues.
âIf the Trump campaign, or anybody associated with it, aided or abetted the Russians, it would not only be a serious crime, it would also represent one of the most shocking betrayals of our democracy in history,â he said.
@drbb That seems like the equivalent of a fishing net.
Comrade Comey indicated that the primary focus of the Trump-Russia alliance will be Hillaryâs email server, and how she facilitated the arrangement.
Thank God the GOP is standing for Russian privacy!
