public financing of elections would eliminate soooo much of the crap that is dealt with by our government, it would eliminate foreign money in our elections, remove the influence of lobbying groups, allow the legislature to actually legislate rather than run from one fund raiser to the next while producing bills that only address needs of their largest contributors, it would seem to be a rather simple solution to what really plagues this country

During the campaign last year I was repeatedly warned by republican candidates that if I voted for Hillary, the white house would be staffed with Goldman Sachs operators, taxes would go up and there would be violence in the streets - and by golly, they were right I did vote for Hillary and look what happened- my bad

That Q-poll doesn’t show so extreme a number, but it is still Rs that support it (Ras being Ras that extremely high number is not surprising…). And if you see where the 24% believing it benefits middle class comes from you gotta to wonder how many times those people have been scammed in their lives…
