Let me know how that goes for ya.

That loyalty goes one way, genius, always to, never from. I think we could argue you never really even knew this guy youā€™ve ruined your life for.

Loyalty is like a one-way ratchet with Spanky, he demands it and it never goes the other direction. There is also an implied threat in Cohenā€™s request for money and I wonder if Cohen is setting the stage to flip on Spanky. I hope, I hope, I hope. .

Trump, when Cohen flips: ā€œHe begged me to pay his lawyer bills. But, when I found out what a bad guy he was, I said ā€˜No.ā€™ So, then he started saying all the fake nasty things about me that Mueller and the 13 Angry Democrats made up and made him say. And STILL No Collusion. No Obstruction. WITCH HUNT.ā€

I thought Cohen was a multimillionaire. Granted his legal bills arenā€™t chump change right now, but against a backdrop of a few (or tens of) millions of dollars they canā€™t be a large percentage of his net worth.

His taxi business turned to shit because of Uber.
Goodbye cash flow.

ā€œI donā€™t understand. I was so loyal to Mr. Trump and I get nuthinā€™ in return?ā€ Lol. Start singing!

He might have a high worth on paper but he may not be able to convert much of his net worth to cash easily. Also, I have a feeling that some of his assets are the result of illegal activity and cashing them in would give Mueller et al. more to investigate.

From what Iā€™ve seen in Joshā€™s reporting here and elsewhere, he was definitely heavily invested in his FILā€™s taxi medallion ventures, but also has substantial real estate holdings. He first came to Trumpā€™s attention because he and his relatives were buying up large numbers of Trump condos in NY and Florida. But yeah, the taxis would have been his cash flow and thatā€™s gonna be pretty limited right now. If heā€™s racking up six figure legal bills every month, I donā€™t doubt heā€™s scrounging under the couch cushionsā€¦

Iā€™m getting a different vibe from thisā€“more like: ā€˜make this right, Spanky, last chance. Youā€™re circling the bowl and Iā€™m holding the chainā€™.

But maybe Iā€™m just a cockeyed optimist.

Definite maybe there. These people are more reptile than mammal and thereā€™s always an underlying threat going on. But he may have been the one person who was ever loyal to Trump in anything like a genuine way, and itā€™s pathetic to see how heā€™s been treated since the election, no matter how contemptible he is himself.

Itā€™s so shocking that Trump the scorpion has stung Cohen the frog. Who could have seen it coming?

Paying Cohenā€™s fees might be construed as an overt act in furtherance of a conspiracy. Not to mention an admission of guilt.

If you take a bullet for Trump you end up dead
Heā€™ll show the same compassion he does to everyone else

Trump brand properties and taxi medallion.

Alex, what are investments that are in the toilet?

True of course. But theyā€™ve been funneling RNC donations to pay the lawyer fees for many, including Cohen, for more than a year; paying no legal or political price. Who has jurisdiction to make this stop?

Hereā€™s an idea : Schedule a press conference where he announces that heā€™s going to do the full John Dean, and set up a GoFundMe account. Hell, I might even send him five bucks.
