Do you get the feeling that this is a repeated pattern with Trump? Use somebody for as long as you can, treat them with a combination of flattery and contempt the whole time, drop them when they are no longer usable. Walk away with full confidence that somehow you can weasel out of any consequences (or buy yourself out of them, If you canât).

Many years ago my then girlfriend worked in a flower shop that Mel Blanc regularly used. She told me that he routinely called in his orders using the voice of one of his characters.
