In another article on TPM this morning it is stated that as many as twenty Dems could line up to run against Trump in 2020. Reading this article one has to ask will Trump be the R candidate in 2020.

But, someone isn’t performing his primary job. It’s almost 8:00 am ET and no tweets from the former reality tv show host. What could have possibly happened in his world in the past 24 hours? The frustration and fear must be building to volcanic pressure and limits.

There’s been a lot going on since November 2016. But I think this (Cohen particularly) marks the beginning of the end. Trust me, there’s been plenty of crimes, trip ups, shenanigans from this administration that would have ended any past presidency instantly. What we have now, though, is finally the beginning of the end. Still a ways to go, yet we’re finally seeing a dimmer of light at the end of a long, horrible, dark period in America.

It will almost certainly be Pence, who “appears” to be unsullied by the current shit storm of corruption, and will have unlimited appeal to evangelicals and others on the Right. Bad news, because Pence is equally corrupt in his own right, with better hair and seems superficially not as evil. His political agenda is the same.

Agree, Pence has been in Iowa working the base three or four times in the last month. His desire for a theocracy is definitely stronger than any religious inclinations of Trump.
