Discussion: Cohen Attorney: Cohen Has 'Knowledge' On Subjects That Would Interest Mueller

I just hope he can point them to some sort of corroborating evidence. Cohen is, ahem, not a stellar witness. Asking a jury “who do you believe – Trump or Cohen?” is like asking them “who would you rather invite to your kid’s birthday party? Ted Bundy or Charles Manson?”

I’m guessing they will try to talk him into resigning so Pence can be in office a while before the election to help his and R chances in 2020.

Just wanted to acknowledge Michael Avenatt’s and Stormy Daniels’ role in exposing Cohen. Le’s face it, the said exposure sped up the investigation and triggered others. Avenatti was right about everything and Daniels was very courageous.

The fact that Cohen is begging for a Mueller plea deal and has not gotten one yet is curious to me. Mueller’s apparent disinterest in Cohen leads me to believe that Mueller has a huge pile of iron clad evidence of conspiracy, which is the heart of this investigation.

Trump broadcasts his obstruction to the world on a daily basis. That’s a no brainer. But the fact that Mueller doesn’t apparently need Cohen to prove conspiracy is thought provoking. Or is something else related to Manafort going on here? It’s a puzzle…

Food catch: my first thought on reading this post, as well.

Michael Avenati commented in an interview last night that we’re now in the 2nd act of a four act play (of Trimp’s downfall). Sounds about right.

Avenatti is wickedly adept at using Twitter. There are at least two people that Trump will not tangle with on Twitter: Michael Avenatti and Rick Wilson. However, Stormy Daniels is quite clear in understanding that bad press or any press equals great publicity in her line of work. I’d say she’s incredibly savvy on one level; the courage had to do with a willingness to go up against the Trump machine.
