Discussion for article #224626
Maybe Iâm just finding this whole thing so absurd, but I actually laughed out loud for real when I read that.
And we have audio!! Awesome! Chris McDaniels just gave the Dems the first âshut that whole thing downâŚâ audio-goodness of the 2014 campaign!
Wait, so the question is that itâs not OK to âharvestâ the votes of black people because they may have been âharvestingâ cotton?
Am I comprehending this correctly? Iâm sorry, I donât speak idiot, so someone will have to translate for me.
Caller forgot what Fox News tells him daily: âthose peopleâ donât pick cotton any more. They donât work at all, just order steak and lobster on their Obamaphones.
OK, so, is it OK to âharvestâ the votes of white voters who had been âharvestingâ soy beans?
Anyone?
Pro tip for Charles C. Johnson: Tweeting the conference call number to your idiot followers and inviting them to âcrash it with meâ is not the way to get future invitations to media conference calls.
Youâre welcome.
These folks want to be taken seriously? Such juvenile and offensive tactics merit only derision by the adults. This McDaniel character either has no character himself or cannot rein in the crazies supporting him.
So true. The TPâs apocalyptic response to Black folks voting is just hilarious. Itâs modern day racism on steroids. Itâs the feeling that everything bad that happens to Whites is directly caused by something Blacks did to them. You really can see that they feel theyâve once again had something taken from them by Blacks. Theyâre so angry that they canât even contain their racism anymore, they canât even maintain the âweâre not the real racistâ pretense anymore. If it werenât so funny, it really would be offensive.
Senator Cochran should be upfront with the Republican base on what he did or did not do. It does not appear that the campaign advisor Austin Powers answered the questions, admonished the caller for asking an irrelevant, racially prejudiced question or did anything to address the issue of whether or not the campaign ran a vote buying scheme.
By the way, money is free speech according to the US Supreme Court. Bribery and vote buying are simple exchanges of favors among consenting adults. There is no violence and both parties gain. It is the free market system. The Senator should stand up for his vote buying operation.
OMG thank you. I was sitting here scratching my head wondering what the hellâŚ? Glad Iâm not the only one that didnât get it.
Itâs almost like they were reaching to defend Black people while being insulting at the same time.
This from a party that claims tea party crosses all demographics - yet slamming Blacks when they vote against your guy.
Some minority outreach.
So now the tea baggers are making crank phone calls. How juvenile. Oh, and the picking cotton thing, that wasnât racistâŚyeah right.
And watch cable on flat screen TVs. Donât forget the flat screen TVs!
Every Democrat running for office this fall should use this audio clip against their Republican counterpart.
Republicans, reach out to minorities this way, donât they?
By the way, no one picks cotton in Miss in June.
love the internecine gop slug-fest; pass the popcorn. . .
Brought to you by Black Democrats in MS who are no doubt having the time of their lives watching these two slug it out. I have no doubt this will NOT be the last time Black folks in MS decide to pick the GOPâs candidate for them.
Weâre all out. I got peanuts, chips and pretzels left.
Johnson is going to fix so that Bernie Sanders could bear McDaniel in a GOTP primary from now on. The idiot just doesnât get it⌠heâs murdering his career on the town square at noon.
Milo plants?
Baba Booey! Baba Booey!
