…SaddamHussein’s palaces were opulent. How’d that work out, BagmanCoburn?

Did opulence confer integrity?

The man had no shame before, and has less now.

He already stole the china and silver. Now he wants to steal that nice hall way antique oriental rug on the way out the door.

“Earlier this year, Coburn announced that he would retire at the end of the current session of Congress.”

And that day can’t come soon enough.

It’s almost like your brother-in-law telling you that the quote for the car you’re planning to buy is way too high, but he knows this guy [who wears a mullet and ball cap and has lots of tattoos] who works in a wrecking yard…

“Brought to you by Carl’s Jr.”

Well, I guess we now know where Coburn will be working (using the term very loosely) after he is out of office.

Because nothing says “We don’t have an extra penny to spend” like the billion dollar cathedral Jerry Jones built outside Dallas.

What a dick.

It’s like when Tony Stewart emerges after a NASCAR win with cameras in his face and he immediately starts hawking Lowe’s and Legos and Tampax and whatnot. Same.

Oh yeah, if you hate opulance, by all means hire the guys who built JerryWorld. Understated charm is their hallmark.

Shorter Coburn:“find a contractor that doesn’t pay decent wages or healthcare and has illegal, er…um, cheap laborers”.

surprise

(not)

To be fair, he may actually believe this company is better and more efficient at what they do. After all, they are wise enough to support his campaign coffers. Who would sell their soul for such a pittance?

That said, wish him happy bedfellows in his retirement, with the pension and healthcare we provide. Good riddance.

Hey, he is retiring and is practicing to be an independent lobbyist - for himself.

One has to wonder if they had any part of the $60M contract for the High School stadium that could never open because of bad architecture or design. NAHHHHH

If only Coburn were running again – this kind of product placement would be a great donor premium for a reelection campaign.

The contempt and pettiness these fat heads drip when grilling the CFPB is so telling. If we can ever excise the cancer of the house GOTP, I hope their pay masters really get the comeuppance they deserve, inflicting these tea jerks on us.
