We weren’t. But thanks for letting me know.

True, but this is already occurring and involves just about everything under the sun. Angry residents protest the shooting of an unarmed kid? That’s proof that President Obama and AG Holder are stirring up racial resentment. Conservative “columnist” and professional idiot commit a federal crime? Shoot, that’s just more proof Obama and Holder are targeting his political opponents, it’s proof of tyranny. The administration gets involved to try to curb campus sex abuse? More proof of Obama’s liberalization and sissification of America. It really doesn’t matter the subject, it’s all proof that liberals are indoctrinating someone or are out to get them personally.
Republicans: Government doesn’t work and it can’t work. Here, watch me to destroy it in order to prove my point.
“Columbine High School student Jordan Gleason told KUSA that he thinks a walk-out on that day would call attention to students’ point of view.”
The tragic history with a gun rampage at his own school is one of the things that wouldn’t get past the censorship board.
If it wasn’t taught the rest of the poster would be misspelled or indecipherable.
I know the intention is snark and humor, but be aware, conservatives use these frivolous moments as “See! See!” rallying cries. It plays into the blame the teacher first worldview. It was most certainly taught. Incorrect application by the student does not speak to deficiencies in the teacher.
Alas, not a single thing in your cornpone filled hubristic screed you posted stands up to even the most cursory examination.
So we should just ignore? Good grief I will not bury my head in the sand just because conservatives will have something to point a finger at. How does doing so make any less stupid than they are?
And FYI the conservatives pounced on this picture long before I made a remark about it.
Sounds like this school board is from TEXASS.
That’s OK, repubs want a stupid uneducated electorate
Actually, the clearly do know difference between teaching and indoctrination, and have opted for the latter.
Also, I am assuming they will not want to teach about Gandhi, who, aside from throwing off the shackles of the imperial empire of Great Britain, did not have the whitest skin on the block. Two good reasons kids should not see him as some sort of hero worthy of study and emulation.
Friends shouldn’t let friends protest ignorantly.
And this misspelled sign will be prima facie evidence that unions protect incompetent teachers. It will play well into the propaganda you envisage.
Possibly, but it seems a real stretch that this student is familiar with a 1991 lawsuit involving vocational training.
Governor Andrew Cuomo’s handpicked New York State Commissioner of Education is a 30-something, proud Fellow of the Koch-backed Aspen Institute. David Koch was a member of the board at the time (perhaps he still is). How about them apples for the teachers?
True, but it can and will be used against unionized, public school teachers who don’t deserve raises; and it gives an opportunity to devalue the student protests by those so inclined. To paraphrase President Obama, Don’t do stupid sh#t!
Definitive proof:
The Kids ARE Alright.
Never mind.
Speaking of useful idiots . . .
Indoctrination.
