I was just thinking the same thing. Short of being ill enough to have to see a doctor for antibiotics, most people who call in sick aren’t sick enough to “prove it”

And this is why the GOP does not want an educated populace, capable of critical thinking. They want people who will blindly go along with their plans and never question what’s going on. Good for these teachers and students for pushing back, using their right to civil disobedience that the conservative school board doesn’t want them to learn about.
