Hannity responded to the charge later on Friday, tweeting “Sorry, I wont subject my audience to conspiracy theory fake news.”

That’s a very bad headline. It would be news if CNN’s Jim Acosta “reported” that Hannity and Carlson get literal scripts from the WH. But he did not say that. He went on Hewitt’s radio show to try to sell books, accurately labeled Fox News “propaganda and state TV,” got expected push back from Hewitt who said “none of us get a script from the government” (I’m sure they do), after which Acosta said “It sounds like that’s what’s going on over there…”
There is no news here at all, just prominent media figures talking to each other in an effort to make money.
Beat me to the punch. Acosta has it 100% wrong, Carlson and Hannity are the Bosses, Trump an empty vessel completely devoid of any kind of original thinking.
He wasn’t talking to us.
gotta feel sorry for Laura Ingraham here. She’s been making every effort to be a Trump Stooge, and Hannity and Carlson still get all the glory…
I think that Fox and Friends actually has far more influence on Trump than either Carlson or Hannity. He seems to watch the morning show religiously – only turning to CNN or Morning Joe when Fox has a segment that isn’t All About Trump.

Although, if you notice, the airheads at Fox & Friends are mostly expressing a dumbed down version of whatever insanity Hannity, Carlson or Ingraham said the night before.
And this is a primary complaint I have about TPM. Why is this news worthy of taking space on their front page? Who cares?
-because this is big news. Everybody thought Carlson and Hannity got their scripts directly from the Kremlin.
