Setmayer and Pierson then got into a heated back-and-forth, with Pierson accusing Setmayer of “race-baiting.”
Another example of the monster the GOP created turning on them. If they point out he’s saying racist things, he’ll just say they’re race baiting, because that’s what they always said whenever someone suggested that the complete lack of respect they showed for Obama (after all those years of demanding that liberals respect the presidency even if they didn’t like Bush) might be racist. The fact that Trump has been much more overt doesn’t really change the equation, the rule they established is that any conservative accused of racism is actually a victim of reverse racism/race-baiting/playing the race card.

Eh, both of them need their heads examined. Setmayer may think she’s different because she’s cleaning up behind less obvious racial messes than Pierson, but they are no different. Setmayer is as much a racial beard as Pierson is. Pot, kettle, you’re both black.

I suspect that’s why anyone is working for Trump, they see it as a lucrative (if temporary) career boost. I would hope that anyone who has “Trump” on their resume is never hired to work anywhere again, except the obvious choices like Fox News or Wall St. Journal.
