This “breaking news” was debunked by the prosecutor’s office and the governor’s offices on Saturday. CNN hasn’t exactly been a bastion of truth telling so far on this matter.

My Facebook and GMAIL accounts just went down, which isn’t unheard of, except all the other links on my Chrome page are still working, which is unheard of, at least for me.
Don’t mean to inject personal stuff into a thread, but felt compelled to point it out somewhere very public, and this place is very public.
Anyone else have a problem like this right after they announced the Ferguson grand jury reached a verdict? Bear with me, I’m just stunned at the fact only the communication and social sites wnet down, and not the websites like this one and Huffpost.

JEP - I was reading social media over the weekend and there were reports that law enforcement was going to jam signals in the St. Louis and Ferguson areas. Are you near there?
I just pulled up my Twitter and Facebook feeds, both appear to be working where I am…EDIT: and now sources I actually trust on this subject (aka NOT CNN) are saying they are hearing a decision may be in. Governor Nixon has called a 4pm meeting with local clergy in the area.
I’m not a religious person but I pray for these people. This whole series of events has been an eye opener as to truly how little movement there has actually been in race relations since the Civil Rights movement. 50 years later, seeing an awful lot of embracing of Jim Crow…how sad. And embarrassing as a white woman.
Anonymous has apparently been actively doxxing STLPD and KKK pages and websites all weekend too.
I’m in `Kansas City, KS right now, about a mile from the Missouri border They are both back, FB and Gmail, But I have never lost connections so selectively like that, I’ve lost them wholesale many times for all the typical reasons, but that was freaky for this old geek. I have also never seen that kind of notice, either.

FOX NEWS? Murdoch’s people nearly brought down the government in England with their provocateurs and posers, and my tinfoil deerstalker really tingles when the facts entwine.
Lots of other tinfoil scenarios set it atingle these days, too… and you have to consider who has the resources to accomplish it. Russians wanting to divert attention away from the Ukraine? Chinese government hackers trying to distract attention away from their own grassroots activism? North Koreans hoping for some sort of devastating riots in the USA?
How about ultra-conservative fundamentalist religious nuts wanting to start Armageddon?
I am not promoting any of these “theories” JUST POSING THEM, but when these two fundamentally disparate groups have the courage to meet and talk in civilized conversation, we have to accept that there is something more sinister than grassroots reactionaries and actionaries going at each other.

If there is any entity, other than the Devil him(it)self, that benefits from this charade, there it is. No one on Earth has profited more than gun manufacturers and dealers from the Ferguson shooting. And some of us consider them (the Devil and the gun lobby) one and the same. And I don’t mean gun owners, I mean the gun industry. Those gun owners are just dupes in the weapons/money game.

The grand jury has already exonerated Darren Wilson, but it takes a little while for the police to move all their tanks and armored personnel carriers into the proper formation for mass killing efficiency.

They knew a week ago that they were not going to indict Wilson. That’s why they have been mobilizing military forces. Now I’m seeing reports that the judge has not decided whether to make the proceedings of the grand jury public. The fix has been in from the beginning. The prosecutor never wanted an indictment.

What is being made clear here is that state governments are institutionally incapable of delivering justice to a black man when he is a victim of a crime.

Hahahaha. Fucking ridiculous. That couldn’t possibly lead to heightened frustrations or instances of panic or dangerous situations like no access to 911…nope…no foreseeable or predictable problems with that whatsoever…
And, make no mistake: they’d use alien technology or magic if they could to disable everyone’s cellphone cameras too. In fact, I have no doubt in my mind that at least one fucking twerp asked the question.
I heard that Kansas City was under Josh Marshall law and that JEP07 is actually an agent of the UN working on Project 21. the real JEP07 is currently in a FEMA reeducation camp.

Yes, it’s a pity. A Grand Jury decision either way that is based on actual evidence is something no one should have a problem with.
i thought they’d announce on Black Friday. Everybody would be shopping or working and couldn’t riot. Redneck Logic

I’m surprised there haven’t been any leaks yet. Still holding out hope for a sane and just decision by this grand jury. What is needed is a proper trial and all the facts get their day in court.
I imagine the decision will be not to indict. Otherwise, they’d have announced it hours ago. Just my 2¢.
