Thatâs golden.
I grew up in Jim Cramerâs neck of the woods. Iâm recovering, tho.
Did you see this? On NRA thread.
The NRA, many conservative think tanks and news organizations have been infiltrated and are infested with Russian FSB operatives.
Donât forget Paul Ryan and Reince Priebus gave out invitations and ringside seats to Ambassador Kislyak and his network of FSB intelligence agents to the Republican convention. Paul Ryanâs convention was where the detailed Russian plans for rigging the 2016 election and altering vote tallies was shared with the Presidential campaign and the Republican party so that it was well coordinated.
Having known many âpatriotic conservativesâ, I tend to lean toward âdomesticâ betrayal, but you may be right.
Very good point about Kelly facilitating the transition to Pence. Guard rails on the Titanic, however, wonât help. Lifeboats might. Not sure what that will look like, but Iâm hopeful the Orange idiot, his Nazi BFF, Manafort, etc. will be forced to remain on deck. Actually, forget the life boats â I hope Pence and the entire GOP go down with this ship. Iâm just that fed up
Comey wanted to go public with this in the summer of 2016, even had an Op-Ed piece ready for the NY Times. Obama refused, he felt that would be perceived as being biased, and was afraid of Republican backlash. He goofed.
To blame Comey, the guy who wanted to go public with the story, is absurd. Comey was very fixated on Russian meddling, and he should have been allowed to go public.
And it had nothing to do with the server investigation, and you can blame Hillary for being a complete moron on that one. How she thought that was âcoolâ to do, and that it would not create controversy, is just another example of how horrible a candidate she was. Hell, she lost to Trump, that alone speaks volumes.
But blaming the guy that got muted? Ridiculous.
America was betrayed by patriotic conservatives who were willing traitors.
I wouldnât be in the least bit surprised. He is that stupid.
IOW keep looking, Mueller.
Arenât you paying attention? Hillary beat Trump. That she actually lost to the Grand Orange has many causes, not the least of which we are discussing right here: Russian interference in our election.
And Comeyâs timing in his pronouncements. He seemed pretty focused on Hillary. He was so convinced that she was guilty of something though he couldnât prove what and he took the day to inform us of such within throwing distance of the election.
To put Comey in the basest of terms: He ainât no virgin!
Bannon complicit?
??? Who is not paying attention?? Comey wanted to come out with the Russia stuff in the summer of 2016, MONTHS before the election. Obama stopped him. So you should be mad at him.
No, he got that investigation thrown in his lap by the Republicans, the FBI did not initiate that investigation, and Comey wanted no part of it. The FBI DID initiate the Russia investigation, and in fact warned Democrats, who ignored them. And again, Comey wrote an Op-Ed he wanted printed in the NY Times months before the election about Russian meddling, but Obama stopped him.
As to the server investigation, if Hillary had not delayed the release of emails for months and months, it would have been over a lot quicker. What she did was stupid. And technically Comey could have indicted her if he wanted to be an a-hole and go only by the law. He decided that âintentâ should be part of prosecution, so he chose not to. It was the right thing to do. But Hillary is the complete moron who broke her own regulations by not only using a private email for communication, but a private server. Idiocy. Yes, HILLARY sent out a memo in 2009 directing all State Department employees not to use private email for ANY communication. So she then not only does ALL her communication on private email, she does it on her own private server. To not think that would not become an issue just shows how arrogant she is. That was beyond stupid. And if anyone else had done that, she would have fired them.
Lie to Trump in service to Trumps goals? Hoe real can Trumpâs goals be if he is not confronted with reality?
As to Comey and the FBI, someone else posted this link yesterday and let me tell you itâs really something if you read it. It purports to explain why Comey has acted as he has and a bunch of other stuff that Josh has touched on that goes way deep in this mess.
link looks odd in the preview, but Iâll post it anyway and hope it is correct.
Comey first called an unprecedented and wholly irregular press conference to castigate Clinton even as he announced that her actions relating to her email server were a million miles away from actionable prosecution. Next he publicized a renewal of his investigation a week before the elections, even as it was very possible that the Weiner laptop contained nothing new (which turned out to be the case). Finally, itâs true that Obama, McConnell and others did not wish the FBIâs Trump-Russia concerns to be become public. On the other hand, itâs likewise true that nobody on the Democratic side had any wish for Comey to turn the email investigations into a front-page story, and thatâs exactly what he did, without even engaging in the consultation that Trump and the GOP benefited from in relation to Russian interference. Nor, since Trump has taken office, did we hear a whisper of concern from Comey or the FBI about the use of private email communications technology by Trump and his White House aides. So Comey does not get a pass on this, not even if you hold the irrelevant opinion that Sanders might have fared better against Trump.
Wouldnât that be sweet!!! But more likely payments were laundered through some other concern (under-priced beach property in Fla?). That is the one skill Cheetolini & the oligarchs have in common.
The SC has some top money-tracing talent. Hope they can tease it appart.
The whole server thing was absolutely normal at the time, as has been said over & over again. And honestly, her server appears to have been more secure than many government ones.
It gets tiresome reading âhow horrible a candidate she wasâ when she won the popular vote and is still EXTREMELY popular with the resistance.
Iâm not so sure it was they were afraid of the GOP - I think they may have been playing the long con. I read somewhere that they didnât want to disrupt another Russian money long term investigation they had. My guess is they never thought there was a chance in hell that Trump would actually win.
