Finally, at least CNN is doing some fact-checking on this dangerous Donald.

During Trump’s infamous Tuesday presser you could actually watch the implications dawn on the slow to burn CNN people…

Donald Trump is the Joe Isuzu of 2016.

“I saw millions and millions of New Jersey Muslims cheering on 9/11.”

“Mexico sends billions of rapists and drug dealers to America.”

“My net worth is ten trillion dollars.”

“You have my word on it!”

No need to award medals just yet but that’s a pretty good first step. Trump does not get his own alternate reality where facts are what he says they are from day to day. A good first step.

Trump was great for ratings, but now that he has escalated his attacks on the media, they are starting to turn on him. Look for “The Political Apprentice” to be canceled in November.

I’m starting to wonder if he’s gonna even make it to convention…this bad press is only going to get worse

More importantly, doing it real time while he and his surrogates are spinning, will be devastating for him going forward.

I loved those commercials.

And the two Izusu’s I drove were the best two vehicles I ever drove, an Izusu Pup Pickup truck and an Izusu Rodeo SUV.

Also I suspect that didn’t just randomly happen. We’ve been dealing with this for a year, and I have to think as it got more serious they’ve been having meetings on how to handle this sort of thing.

I’m not sure which would be better - having his meltdown occur before the convention so that the 'pubs can slip in a replacement, thus enraging his herd of ignorant lemmings

OR

allowing him to get the nom only to destroy him btwn the convention and the election.

Either way, he’s going down!

It seems he always says things in a manner that gives him wiggle room which is part of what makes him so dangerous. Is saying Japan should have access to nuclear weapons the same as saying Japan should have nuclear weapons? If they have access through a third party they do not own them.

The real issue seems to me is he has no idea what his policy is and he has no hesitation to lie about little things and big things and is willing to change his policy two or three times a day.

Amazing…the false-equivalence network missed an oppo to do a false-equivalence segment. I’m sure that’ll be rectified soon.

Has his poll numbers declined? The press may finally be waking up but the millions that support him do not care about facts, establishment politics or what the evil press says. Unfortunately many of Bernie’s supporters are in the same boat.

Methinks the MSM may finally be waking up to the Donald. When he starts threatening changing libel laws to sue news organizations over perceived slights and calling reporters who question him sleazy, they are waking up to the fact that Mr. entertaining is really dangerous. We are starting to see a shift in the tone of his coverage and it isn’t going to make him happy

Next, CNN should correct Trump preemptively.

Yeah some of Bernie supporters are…I just hate how Bernie and weaver is purposely misleading them

You know, this should be pretty easy for every “news” organization covering Trump, because no matter what assertion of his you quote, you can also be confident he said the opposite sometime recently.

That’s indeed the key part. Campaign reporters admit that thus far they couldn’t keep up with the rapid pace at which Trump spouted so many lies and that it also undercut effects of fact checking that reporting his comments and fact-checking were generally being done separately and some time later. They seem well aware his lies need to be called out immediately, right there. Hopefully this CNN one is just the beginning and we see more of this.
