Fox News is the only network that has rectified a rule violation by inviting the other campaigns backstage, according to CNN.
So Faux’s only way to “rectify” a rule violation is to allow everybody to join in violating the rules, rather than hold the person (tRump) and his campaign responsible for breaking the rules. Great. Just as you would expect from this Mickey Mouse debate arrangement. It all so absurd…its theater of the absurd.

This story is too much inside baseball. It just looks like losers whining, rules infractions of not.
Exactly put them in a simulator and give them a crisis to work out. Much more constructive.

How would the moderators or the sponsoring network hold tRump (I like that!) or another candidate “responsible for breaking the rules”? Put him in a time-out penalty box? Deny him any further speaking time? Ban him from that network’s next sponsored debate? Giving the other candidates the same opportunity to consult with their handlers seems the only way to “re-level the playing field” (which is what it really is, not a “debate stage”) for that particular event.
As JustThe Facts noted above, it’s a silly restriction to begin with; particularly so if the idea of these “debates” are to inform the viewing public about “the issues” and the candidates’ “plans and provisions”. Of course, that notion is just plain silly as well. These GOP “debates” are well-watched, “reality-survivor” shows, in which the “viewing audience” participates by indirectly voting contestants “out of the race”. As Les Moonves (CBS) confides, the spectacles are very lucrative for the networks.

In 1988, The League of Women Voters withdrew their sponsorship of presidential debates. How prescient they were in what they said at the time.
LEAGUE REFUSES TO “HELP PERPETRATE A FRAUD”
WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE
WASHINGTON, DC —“The League of Women Voters is withdrawing its sponsorship of the presidential debate scheduled for mid-October because the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter,” League President Nancy M. Neuman said today.
“It has become clear to us that the candidates’ organizations aim to add debates to their list of campaign-trail charades devoid of substance, spontaneity and honest answers to tough questions,” Neuman said. “The League has no intention of becoming an accessory to the hoodwinking of the American public.”
Neuman said that the campaigns presented the League with their debate agreement on
September 28, two weeks before the scheduled debate. The campaigns’ agreement was negotiated “behind closed doors” and vas presented to the League as “a done deal,” she said, its 16 pages of conditions not subject to negotiation.
Most objectionable to the League, Neuman said, were conditions in the agreement that gave the campaigns unprecedented control over the proceedings. Neuman called “outrageous” the campaigns’ demands that they control the selection of questioners, the composition of the audience, hall access for the press and other issues.
“The campaigns’ agreement is a closed-door masterpiece,” Neuman said. “Never in the history of the League of Women Voters have two candidates’ organizations come to us with such stringent, unyielding and self-serving demands.”
Neuman said she and the League regretted that the American people have had no real opportunities to judge the presidential nominees outside of campaign-controlled environments.
“On the threshold of a new millennium, this country remains the brightest hope for all who cherish free speech and open debate,” Neuman said. “Americans deserve to see and hear the men who would be president face each other in a debate on the hard and complex issues critical to our progress into the next century.”
Neuman issued a final challenge to both Vice President Bush and Governor Dukakis to “rise above your handlers and agree to join us in presenting the fair and full discussion the American public expects of a League of Women Voters debate.”

Don’t feel sorry for Kasich. He just balanced Ohio’s budget by removing state funding for Planned Parenthood. The budget is balanced on the back of women who need an abortion to save their lives, and other serious problems. Kasich could care less about any human other than himself. Much like the Michigan governor who has poisoned the residents of Flint MI to save a few bucks, while destroying 1000s of lives with lead poisoning. This is who these people are - deserving execution for their Crimes Against Humanity - meaning We The People. I’d love to see some of these murderers suffer for the rest of their sorry lives.

Why on earth WOULDN’T Trump break any rule he felt like, at this point? And I don’t mean as part of some dastardly, fiendish plan–I just mean on a whim.
The only possible penalty is that stern-looking moderator expressing his pious disappointment, and letting the other candidates get the same ticky-tack advantage you did. Getting to play the naughty rule-breaker who The Man is trying to keep down HELPS Trump!
Which, come to think of it, is probably why we’re only hearing about it a few days later (instead of in real time from a moderator or candidate).

What a laugh. I am sure none of the other candidates did or would ever do such a thing. They are law abiding, virtuous gentlemen. They also never, ever coordinate with the super PACs supporting them either. To do so would just be wrong.
Faux Noise Nutwork obviously and consciously structured the most recent debate in an effort to attack and undermine Trump. They set up video, the launched attack after attack. The moderators were not what I would call neutral.
I loathe Trump. But there is perhaps no word in the English language to describe the utter contempt and scorn I feel towards the Faux Noise Nutwork.
Pot. Kettle. Point. Match. That is Trump vs. Faux.
Best penalty would be to announce the rules violation to the entire viewing audience right after they come back on air.
