How can you defame a crook who owes all of us millions of dollars in back payments and who claims that federal land is his?

I thought Bundy didnā€™t accept the power of government institutions.

Which Bundy admires, unless he lying about his political philosophy.

Perhaps the Federal Government can actually pull some money out of him instead of letting him continue to dance?

Depends on whether his ox is getting gored or heā€™s trying to gore someone elseā€™s. Like most of the rightwing. Heā€™s unique for being particularly stupid and open about it. He and the rest of his clan.

They are going to end up either in prison or dead, and right now my money is on the latter. They just canā€™t stop playing

Trash, yes. How would a society that cares about their people help him?

Perhaps he could consult with Trump, who seems to know scams to alleviate being in debt.

All judgments in favor of the Plaintiff will be issued checks from the Sovereign Bank of Jordan Montana, aka Justus Township. . Real mock trials of public officials, and writs of execution will be issued against any federal judge that doesnā€™t let us stay in the tree fort past dinnerā€¦

I wanted to be sympathetic to this douche; it seemed like a stretch to tie him directly to the deaths of the police officers. But seeing the flyer erased any sympathetic feelings, because wow ā€“ heā€™s actually suing to protect the good name of his illegal actions. Who the fā€” does that?

By giving him a fair trial, of course.

If Bundy has a lawyer does that mean he has money to pay him? Or is the lawyer going to have to get a lien on his property for the fees heā€™s due?

ordinarily, I would agree. however, that settlement taken wouldnā€™t really be a ā€œlossā€ to Mr. Bundy, since it would represent money he didnā€™t have to begin with. his only ā€œlossā€ would be his out of pocket costs, for attorneyā€™s fees, etc., and those would be charged to respondent and not subject to being taken by the government, since it would be punishing the attorney for an act they had nothing to do with.

Looks like somebodyā€™s feeling his Oath Keepers after that disgraceful acquittal in Oregon. Time to probe the legal system for weaknesses again.

Doesnā€™t he know you have to have good character before you can sue someone for defaming it?

FYI:

Incumbent Cresent Hardy Ā® is one of the most vulnerable incumbents in 2016.
Nevadaā€™s 4th District supported Barack Obama in both 2012 and 2008 by a significant margin.
Heading into the election, Hardy and state Sen. Ruben Kihuen are evenly matched in total fundraising.

How do you like that? Suddenly, scrupulous attention to factual circumstances becomes ā€œa thingā€ for Bundy and his cult.

Even if Bundy had a case, SCOTUS ruled in Susan B. Anthony List v. Driehaus ruled that ā€œThe truth or falsity of political speech should be judged by voters, not government bureaucratsā€.
