Praise The Lord! Pay your debts Cliven. It is better to give than to receive my brother!

It’s just a matter of time.
This ain’t the movies.
The Federal Govt will be here long after you’re gone Bubba.
And they’ll end up with their account balanced.

Lord, this is MattinPA and I humbly beseech you to write in letters of fire across the sky, “Oh, FFS, I’ve got better things to do than speak to Cliven Bundy and he’s just a fat idiot who took a stupid risk and was extremely lucky the Feds didn’t think it was worth the trouble to shoot him Peace Out.”

Oh, yay. Another yutz hears voices and attributes it to god, when he should recognize its just him, giving voice to his own base desires.

Other than starring in a democratic mid-term ad this October, your 15 minutes of fame are up Clive.

The Bundy family is obviously lying. The encounter with the feds would not have resulted in the feds backing off unless the Bundys were carrying guns or claimed to.

Much as I would like to see the family of traitors in jail waiting federal trial for treason in Washington D.C. (far away from their gun nut sympathizers), they do make a rather useful illustration of what NRA gun-nuttery really stands for.

Bundy is the classical heretic…love the Lord but don’t pay your taxes as the Bible instructs. God helps us if this man is right. Right now he seems to be no more than cheapskate who confuses the Bible with the constitution.

Seriously. If you want proof, click through and look at the newspaper website. It’s a damn slow news day, not a real story in the bunch. Gas prices lowest since 2010, heavy rains hit area, Cedar City residents meet Tour of Utah cyclists, that sort of thing.

Bundy throws Hail Mary in the direction of the SCOTUS in hopes of a eventual RFRA exception ruling against the Government.

From that article -

"Bundy and former Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack, a popular author on constitutional issues, questioned why more people weren’t present in the largely full convention hall.

“Where is all of your college students? Where’s our young and where’s our old? Where’s our black and where’s our brown?” Bundy asked. “Where are you people?”

Yep, the good Lawd works in mysterious ways…

Nuts.

Cliven Bundy wonders why black people haven’t come to listen to him? Ai yi yi. Some people really and truly are not that bright.

“Bundy abandoned the Republican Party earlier this year…”

Unadulterated 100% pure virgin bullshit. The only people that the Bundy assholes will vote for—if they vote at all—will be either wingnut current Republicans or wingnut former Republicans.

It was to DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION! (nope)
It was a Stand Against Tyranny! (nope)
It was for States Rights! (nope)
It was a Return to Traditional Values (what?)
ah…lets see…It was a…a…SPIRITUAL BATTLE! yeah, that’s it!
(WTF?)
Religion. The last refuge of Scoundrels and Grifters.
(BTW - You STILL owe the US Government that money…)

Where are the Obama re-education camps to take care of these sorts of people? I’m still waiting.

I’m so tired of hearing about this guy, especially if the story isn’t about him being arrested and sent to jail.

It’s the same kind of spiritual battle I have when I get to the checkout at the grocery store. The good lord obviously wants me to have all this food, yet I keep hearing him speaking to me, telling me that I shouldn’t have to pay for it. It’s enough to make me question my faith.
