Discussion: Clinton Wins Big In S.C., Adding To Her Momentum Going Into Super Tuesday

Well of course most African Americans support Hillary, she’s done so MUCH for them, like- and that time she- and then there was- yeah.

That’d be her!

First: Let it be known that, even though I voted for HRC in my primary, I will support Sanders if he is the nominee.

Sen. Sanders had to have the biggest dumbfuck as an advance person in Austin. Sanders’ rally today was held at a private race track that the previous county administration gave huge government subsidies to. The outrage was so bad in Austin that the County Judge was replaced in a huge upset election. The Austin paper, nicknamed “Pravda Austin,” even wrote about it tonight

Bernie Sanders’ Austin venue is local symbol of corporate welfare

Well the Clinton Economic Opportunity Initiative for starters. Which helps individuals and families succeed, and business to grow… and the foundations first domestic efforts (in 2002) was the Harlem Small Business Initiative, which provided local business with pro bono consulting services and the hundreds of local businesses it helped was all just a super secret ploy to not really help black people and was just to win their votes in South Carolina 15 years down the road.

Sneaky bastards.

While I think Hillary is the better candidate to secure a Democratic win, I love Bernie’s strong showing. He pulls the party in the direction it urgently needs to be in, and his success is a stark reminder that the political landscape is shifting.

I strongly hope that Hillary is a smart as I think she is, and that she recognizes this ain’t the nineties anymore.

That would be a classy move. However, I think the Bernie camp is in both running-out-of-time mode, and a bit in panic mode.

Bottom line: Super Tuesday is in 3 days. Bernie’s behind in almost every state that votes on Super Tuesday.

There’s almost no way Bernie can attempt to start his “revolution” in that amount of time. I can’t really blame him for using every-last-second to try to set off a few sparks here and there. I don’t think it will work whatsoever, but it’s his call.

Y’all got this one  I have Boris Karloff as The Mummy calling my name in an about an hour…plus a whole bunch of goolies on Twitter wanting to read my insanely silly comments about the movie, too.

You’re saying that the black women who are her biggest supporters in SC (and who deserted her in 2008 but have come back) don’t know what they’re doing in supporting her now. Women are going to support Clinton. End of discussion.

Whether it’s a 45% margin or a 50% margin doesn’t really matter. It’s a huge margin. If most states were just like South Carolina (60% AA voters and only 2% Hispanic), and the rest of the states were voting tomorrow, it would be over tomorrow. Fortunately for Bernie, neither of those things is true. But, no question about it, I would rather be in Hillary’s shoes than Bernie’s going into Super Tuesday.

[Edit: Sorry, I meant this as a general comment, not a response to KatWillow.]

Bill Clinton was the first President for whom I voted. (Sadly, I didn’t even register to vote until I was 23 years old). I loved First Lady Hillary Clinton. I’ve watched her when she would make speeches around the nation and world. My favorite was when she went to China (? not totally sure, but Asia region) about the fight for better opportunities for the world’s girls and women. It was powerful. I remember her supporting a money lending system that girls and women could use so as to secure better futures for them and to make educated choices regarding family planning. That made such a strong impression on me and solidified my respect for her as a person.

Should Hillary Clinton win the Democratic nomination–and I do believe she has a high chance of making that happen–I will proudly pull the lever to vote HRC for POTUS.

I tried, I really tried to like Svengoolie but, I just don’t dig it the same way I was with Elvira and, especially, MST3K. He seems to be digging up most of the Universal line which I think is dated. I might be more interested if he busted out “The Crawling Eye.”

We know that The Morality Police have a presence here and can get silly things flagged, so all of you posting the image of Brunhilde or is that her sister Ingeborg are going to hear from them

Anyone know how turnout was in SC tonight compared to the Republicans’ turnout in SC?

I might as well be accused of homophobia when they report

You can take the boy out of San Francisco but you can’t take San Francisco out of the boy. Way to go!

Really, I think that is the first pic I’ve ever put up and I just copied and pasted from Clunkertruck that responded to me just now.

It’s supposed to represent the fat lady singing, as in, it’s all over when the fat lady sings.

I have been flagged before for what I thought was childishness and put on restriction or whatever. I can’t imagine that this warrants that but who knows.

Tattle tail ! ! –

Ah, thank you for that smile! I needed it tonight (bad day pain-wise). Yeppers, this country boy has San Francisco written all over him.

I’m glad to see Hillary Rodham Clinton doing so well.

Obviously I’m just kidding. No one is flagged.
Happy Saturday, b-words!
