I’m glad it isn’t just me. I’m not the smartest person with programs, but far from dumb. When it happens continuously, I try restarting my own computer or checking my computer’s own current tasks, etc. Rarely is it ever my own system. TPM must have a server that can carry but so many people being on at once, all in the various sections, utilizing the comment boards, etc. If I remember correctly, a few weeks or so back, Josh notified us about an AT&T issue and how AT&T weren’t living up to their end of the deal. Don’t know if that is the issue or …
She blows through those numbers. Its going to be in the mid to high 30s. Sanders is doing worse than the polling numbers suggested, particularly among black voters.
Which is the writing on the wall for him on Tuesday. He is going to lose big in GA, TX, AL VA and TN. In fact the only place he is predicted to win is VT, even MA is neck and neck.
And it will only get worse for him after that.
Oooh, I can’t for wait for Salon’s next hit piece on her to come out, this will piss them off so much!
The most frequent problem I have is the “comment” button just not working at all on certain articles at certain times. If I hover the cursor over it, it just says “javascript void” or something like that. If I refresh the page right away, usually the same. If I wait a while and refresh, then eventually it usually works.
The exit polling is suggesting he is pretty damn near spot on there.
Wow, a real smackdown.
We knew she’d win big, but the margin is wider than I expected.
Any news from CO?
Yes, I must say that the No. 1 issue I have is the Comment Button. I have deduced it must be within TPM’s main programming, probably something to do with who uploads their story and the full range of access they have – either due to their level of security clearance or, perhaps, related to their location and how they’re uploading their story. Many years ago, I worked for a large news radio station on the west coast, back when it was still fairly new for stations to even have a full functioning site, much less a full array of news. It’s been awhile and a lot of changes are at the speed of lightning, so my understanding of it is likely antiquated.
It is very frustrating that things run like molasses in Alaska … in January.
That one is a muti-times-a-day TPM fuck up.
Yikes. I may have to revise and extend my comment upthread.
With 15% reporting she is ahead by 55%.
Not winning with 55% of the vote, but winning by 55%… i.e. 77.5% vs 21.9%.
Wow. Now, that is a whuppin!
It will no doubt tighten up a bit, but is huge.
No moral code or ethical principle, no piece of scripture or holy teaching, can be summoned to defend what we have allowed our country to become. - Matthew Desmond
It would be a shame for the Democrats to let Bernie Sanders ideas fall to the curb if (or when) Hillary prevails. Sanders’ ideas taken from the Nordic model are very appropriate here. For one, he recognizes that the issue is not a minimum wage, but determining what is needed for basic subsistence. Many firms have set themselves up on the banks of the Money River, but labor has been frustrated in finding a fairer shake for worker. Sanders, for example, could play a similar role as Frances Perkins did in the FDR administration. It’s a big issue, and would leave Hillary available for e.g. geopolitical stuff. Sanders, who acknowledges the system is rigged for average Joe, would be great in leading structural reform to labor markets. By 2025, the majority of American workers will not have a “job” in the traditional sense, but rather be acted upon by “cyberactin” much as cell function is transformed to physical manifestation. Sanders could help provide vision in this area, and Hillary could do something more than pay lip service to the underemployed waste we now seem so sanguine about.
Hillary is going to do well here in VA, as well. Not by these numbers, but she will take VA pretty easily. That said, I have seen a number of Bernie bumper stickers around.
Realistically, I do expect Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic presidential nominee. However, I trust Clinton to extend the type of olive leaf to Sanders that President Obama did to Hillary. What form that takes, I don’t know. There is so much in Sanders’ base message that rings true and near to my own beliefs – and I sincerely believe he has a lot to offer this nation, more than he’s already given with his time in Congress.
edited for clarity
I can’t believe that Hilary’s 50 point lead will hold once all the votes are counted… but DAAAAAAAAAMN… REKT!
I kept trying to read the results…or other stories…or even comment, but…

The way it is coming she got 90% of the black vote and winning the white vote. She will do maybe better than 50%
Yes, you get this! I sure hope the DNC does as well.
