HRC winning Arizona is nice, but if it doesn’t coincide with a defeat for Sen. McCain it just won’t be right.

It would be a great footnote to history to see that Trump brought down McCain. He really should have retired six years ago, when he still had some dignity.

He cashed in his dignity early, with Keating. He’s been renting ever since.

Trump will blame McCain for this. Let’s hope he does it really loudly before election day.

Still not sure I buy it quite yet. There would need to be some more polls with this result. Many had it very close, but this may be the first I know of that gave her a sizable lead there. It would be pretty big if true.

In any other election this would signal to the candidate that they were doomed. Trump is too ignorant for that though. You have lost when you are not fighting for swing states but defending what should be in your camp.

I think she’ll win AZ, GA, and Texas will be damn close whether or not she actually flips it.

That’s great but TPM also shows that control of the Senate is up in the air, something like five races too close to call. I keep on hearing (including of MSNBC) about “the” race when if merely Hillary Clinton wins it will not be a reason to celebrate. It will be a reason to breath a sign of relief. If she is stuck with a Republican Senate, it will be four more years of bs though she will still have (like Trump would) enough power for it to matter.

First we’ll take Manhattan, then we’ll take Phoenix.

Arizona has been trending Purple for a while now. This just confirms it.
Now, if she can pry Georgia out of Republican hands, THAT would be something.
UTAH is out of reach as McMullen will win Utah. She will finish 2nd however (and that is a slap to Trump.)
Texas? Nah. It will be pretty close however with her only losing by a few percentage points.
North Dakota? In your dreams.
Florida? probably.
Ohio is the wild card here. If she gets both Flor-i-DUH, and Ohio, Trump is toast and will be in Dukakis territory.
We can only hope.

Kelly Anne Conway continues to ask the deflecting question about why HRC can’t break the 50% barrier (as if that’s even relevant) and the press is missing a perfect reply: HRC is a woman, and is subjected to the exact sort of misogyny and reflexive discrimination/devaluation that Trump is guilty of. It was noted that Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, only she did it backwards and in high heels. Well, HRC is a perfect example of that. Even though she’s light years more qualified, magnitudes smarter and emotionally more stable than Drumpf, she must overcome the fact that she’s a woman and is, therefore, already at a disadvantage. She’ll win decisively and send the Great Circus Peanut back to his usual gig of screwing investors out of as much money as possible.

This is ludicrous. No reputable pollster would publish a poll 20 days before the election with 20% of the voters undecided.

So they should just ignore the results of the most recent polling?

AZ has a recreational cannabis law on the ballot and this will bring out LOTS of voters who most likely will lean towards voting Dem. If the hispanic GOTV effort succeeds, this combination could put AZ into blue territory.
