Discussion: Clinton Comes Out Five Points Ahead In Arizona Poll

The way things have been going for Trump the Clinton plan has shifted from 270 to Sweep The Board, and, really, that’s the only way to go now with all the de-legitimization of American Democracy Trump has been playing and throwing around as a last ditch effort in a last leg of a Reality TV-show competition.

Clinton MUST go for all the marbles to shut mouths up and unify the country, otherwise the nation will keep on being divided for ratings sake. The bluer the Nation, the tighter mouth will be shut.

Go Hillary!

Just a word of caution, the sample size is very small. The lead is outside the error of margin but not by much. More an indication that the state is in play rather than a clear sign that there is a real lead for Hillary.

This is music, I’m sure, to my ol’ friend Darr’s ears. And if GrandPa McCain were to exit as well…ohhhh…be still my beating heart.

C’mon Arizona! Retire the old crank and let him find a new job:

A lot of hard miles on that one.

In AZ you can kinda see the writing on the wall. Sanders had a great reception and local coverage there. Michelle Obama is headed there. Even Chelsea is getting coverage there. Clinton is spending ad money there. People feel like it’s a real campaign on the Dem side. Trump has nothing going on there. McCain dumped him and isn’t paying any real price for it. The undecided hate Trump, so his odds of coming back are not that great.

When they pushed leaners it was Clinton 43-38-7-4, with 8% undecided, so in line with other polling. Clinton has room to grow. Not sure that Trump does because the undecided hate him and the Greenies 2nd choice would be Clinton. Now that Clinton is running a real campaign there, the Greenies and some of the Johnson voters are likely to move to her.

I approve this message, and hope she has long coattails. It’s long past time McCain starts a new phase of his life, OUT of the Senate.

It’s not that hard to make AZ pink… or even purple.
Remember AZ had a Dem Governor in Janet Napolitano for almost 2 terms until Obama recruited her 2 years into her second term
(and their nutty Tea Party’er Sec of State got promoted to Gov… and then weirdly re-elected).

And Phoenix and Tucson - the 2 biggest cities - tend to lean Dem more often than not overall anyway.

Pink’ing is pretty easy but it takes a bit of prodding to bring out the purple statewide in AZ - but Fed Dem orgs usually don’t put in real effort for AZ anymore - they should rethink that, imo - and I’m glad HRC’s people are going there.

The problem here although it’s better than the opposite is that I just can’t really enjoy these positive Clinton polls until Trump has been completely and conclusively defeated on election day.

YAY! YAY!

Let’s ensure AZ goes BLUE and stays blue!

Trump down by 5! Old sheriff joe down by 10! Washington Post poll has old mcCrank only up 3 against Ann K. That’s within the margin of error! Edit: that poll was prior to old mcCranks vow to block all SCOTUS nominees during the Clinton Presidency. So his numbers are probably even worse now.

Three old trolls lose, finally! What a great election night! Can’t wait.

Bernie was here in Flag and Tucson yesterday. Chelsea here today.

And First Lady Michelle Obama to be here in Phoenix Convention Center tomorrow!

Can you say, Hillary takes AZ by 10?

Goldwater could not stand old mcCrank. It’s public knowledge he called him the worse type of carpetbagger! Ray-gun hated that old mcCrank left his disabled wife (ray-gun’s friend) for the money bags. HA! Too funny!

Both of his “heroes” hated him.

Absolutely!

He’s so desperate that he’s running on he was Vietnam prisoner of war this election…sickening! Vote for me, I’m a prisoner of war hero. Fifty years later, he’s still cashing in this chip!

Hopefully this is not a stasticla outlier. It would be great to expand the map (as the cliche goes) and hopefull also open the door for Clinton to look at increasing efforts in Georgia to flip it blue as well.

From what I know about Goldwater, I have to assume he’d have really despised Trump. They seem like total opposites.

I was at a board meeting last week and one of the people on the board with me is from Arizona. He’s pretty in the know about Arizona Republican politics (he’s a Never Trump Republican). He said that the scuttlebutt with insiders is that there’s a good possibility that Clinton will win. He indicated that a lot of Republicans won’t say so in public but that there is more anti-Trump sentiment among Republicans, at least in his state, than is being spoken out loud. Jeff Flake is their hero right now.

He never had dignity from the day he ran for Congress as the great war hero.

He just had the credulous Villagers bamboozled.
