Discussion: Clinton Campaign Chair Claims Trump Ally Knew Of Upcoming Email Hacks

Mr. Podesta, you don’t have to say it’s circumstantial. Make them deny it. After all, that’s been their playbook for 30 years. One instance on our end isn’t going to hurt.

I think anyone who stays at a Trump hotel or plays golf in one of his courses needs to be investigated as to whether or not they are tied to the Russian government’s activities that seem hell-bent on screwing with the US’s elections process.

Snark, right?

From observation, it’s clear Trump’s brain does a mash-up of recent events it has experienced, read or been told as the candidate speaks.
So what recent experience motivated Trump’s inexplicable non sequitur about Sidney Blumenthal in the 2nd Debate?
In that debate Trump also claimed no Russian “loans” and a great balance sheet, so maybe outright cash or property gifts?

Roger Stone: idiot, liar, and now traitor.

Podesta also pointed to a tweet from Stone in August which claimed “Trust me, it will soon the Podesta’s time in the barrel."

It would be poetic justice if it were Stone’s time in the barrel. It’s time for the world to hear about Stone’s swinging past. There’s a reason he’s not officially part of the Trump campaign.

That was such a strangely-worded “denial.” He didn’t deny that his businesses had massive infusions of Russian cash – he merely denied that he had Russian “loans.” Of course, we know Trump has played the equity/loan scam before with his own money. If he calls it in an “investment of equity,” he can keep what are really loans off the books.

No. Anyone who supports this asshole and helps to enrich his pockets needs to pay for it. It takes a lot to push my buttons … but once they’re pushed, those who did it will feel the full wrath of an angry god.

ETA: And I can be a very very pissy god.

Special prosecutor after the election–links between Trump campaign and Russian espionage. Yes? Please?

I’ll respectfully disagree here then. People who play a round of golf or stay in a hotel–no matter who the owner is–haven’t committed any crime whatsoever.

Now, if they bought Trump Vodka or cologne I might reconsider that.

As soon as I saw this I thought of the scene in “The Wire” where Shamrock is taking notes at a meeting of high-level drug dealers. Stringer Bell walks up and snatches the pad out of his hand, asking with some annoyance if he realizes he’s “taking notes on a criminal fuckin’ conspiracy? What the fuck is you thinkin’, man?” Of course that was fiction, and meant to be funny. This is a damn clowny-ass freak tweeting about a criminal fuckin’ conspiracy in real life because for a moment he thinks it’ll make him look good. I ask you. Trump hires the best! Seriously I’ve read that lots of crimes get solved because the criminals can’t keep their mouths shut and start bragging about it.

Tough titty. There are thousands of other comparable golf courses and thousands of other comparable hotels to patronize. Support this stinking, unwiped asshole and you deserve to be audited by the IRS.

ETA: Yes, this is snark … at least a third of it.

If it helps, I read in Mother Jones, I think, that according to British tax records, which work differently from ours, his golf resorts there are actually losing money bigly even if he’s telling the world he makes millions from them. Thought you’d like to know that.

Yes!! I feel some empathy for his employees, but none for him and his idiot children (sans Barron, for the time being).

Tiffany doesn’t seem bad. She’s no Uday or Qusay.

This is true – so I’ll say that I’ll exclude Barron and Tiffany. Thanks for reminding me about Tiffany.

Eewww – can only imagine what the cologne must smell like. Month-old piss from a male cat?

Yeah, that Blumenthal bit was bizarre. Kind of a scrambled version of Alex Jone’s Greatest Hits.

I imagine it’s the same as his vodka. I’m certain they both come out of the same 2000 gallon vat.
