That would be a good change. I’m skeptical it can be used against D’Souze though because he should be “gradfathered in” to the law as it was when he was indicted.

I can only attribute it to personality, or what the ancients called character. They said character is destiny.
When they end up despised by 2/3 of the population, that’s not a fun destiny. Who wants to be remembered as a D’Souza or an Ann Coulter or Lee Atwater?

Speaking of Christie, I heard Mike Pompeo speak on NPR today and at first I thought it was Christie. I can’t figure this out because the speech pattern, tone and timbre are the same. If I remember correctly Pompeo was born in CA and then grew up KS, and Christie has been in Jersey his whole life. Is it the girth? Is it that they both have the need to sound tough? I just don’t get it.
Does anyone else suspect that the hold-up in getting this law changed is because corrupt NY politicians don’t want to be liable for state and federal charges for their own crimes?

It’s hard to say, not being in their mind, but it might be they all imagine themselves to be Henry Tudor rather than Richard III. They believe that their side will write the history books and they will be “justified” by history as consequence.
It may not be that coherent in their own head, but that’s my best shot in the dark.

Remove Trump from Office is the clear solution, not only has he obstructed justice with firing Comey he is obstructing justice with his pardons.
Whatever the nature of the Rich pardon, Clinton didn’t just capriciously throw out pardons WHILE he was in office.

Can’t agree there are no winners: Russia gets competition, instability and conflict within what was for 60+ years a pretty solid Western alliance.
