I think one reason the Beeb’s was for doing the stupid speech was because, if all this national security theater fails to distract Israel’s voters from their #1 problem – the one they themselves identify, several places ahead of the ‘existential threat’ posed by the ain’t-ever-gonna-happen nuke attack from Iran, – of economic inequality, to an extent actually measurably worse that in the U.S. (rendered all the more remarkable by the lack of huge systemic educational gaps and systemic barriers to voting – then it’s possible Beebs no longer has any future in Israeli politics … so, Fox America, or FNC Live From Tel Aviv will be his next gig.
