Discussion: Christie Tells Campaign Staff He's Dropping Out

Well, at least you eviscerated Robiot before you left.

Thatā€™s only because the regret chafing dish was empty at the Nashua, NH Hometown Buffet.

Sadly NJ did not manage to get all of the locks changed ā€¦ and now we will have to put up with this petulant blow-hard political eunuch. He has totally revealed himself to be a total shill - the tough guy shtick was just a bunch of crap - in the campaign he was willing to lean which ever way the wind blew just like some fragile fern - in the end it is clear for all to see -he is totally untrustworthy - he stands for NOTHING but his own advancement - he would support anything if he thought it would get him votes.

I donā€™t think there was room enough for two loud-mouth bullies in the GOP campaign.

I believe we have a photo of the exact moment Christieā€™s campaign for the GOP nomination diedā€¦

Governor Christie, let me correct the first sentence of your failure Facebook post:

I ran for President to say that the government needs to once again work POORLY for the people, not the people work for the government.

I believe this fits your governing style.

hell, why should he regret it. heā€™s now a nationally known figure; will be sought out for speaking engagements; and will soon sign a contract for a book to be released just in time for the 2020 campaign. all the while raking in those bucks.
and, if a republicon does get installed in the white house, he may even have a shot at some cabinet position ā€“ although iā€™m sure heā€™d decline as too beneath him.

Funny that He took out Rubio in debate but he is out of race and Rubio still in. Guess he took one for Trump

Iā€™m not sure why these folks give a stump speech when theyā€™re quitting.

What the home folks think 838 comments and probably counting:

ā€œTRENTON ā€” Gov. Chris Christie suspended
his campaign for president Wednesday, ending his quest to become the
first New Jerseyan to win the White House since Woodrow Wilson a century
ago.
The governor had a meeting with staff in Morristown where he thanked
them for their support and told them his plans to suspended
the campaign. The decision to drop out came after the governorā€™s
lackluster showing in the New Hampshire primary.ā€

Actually, this is one of the better ā€˜suspensionsā€™ Iā€™ve read. I wonā€™t forgive him for the sht he spun during his campaign but that he chose to shut his mouth when getting out is OK.

Iā€™m trying to get my arms around this
