No, I think Trump has had enough success “unhandled” that he won’t go that way. He has too much self-confidence to ever admit someone else has a better idea.

At the WH Correspondent’s Dinner this year, they should do a photo montage of all those who lost their political careers this year like they do at the Oscar’s for the dead. I’m imagining Sarah McLachlan’s “I Will Remember You” playing in the background as photos of Carson, Fiorina, Jim Webb, Romney pumping gas, etc. and then it ends with that iconic photo of Obama and Christie embracing.

I’ll start to believe that if he endorses Trump.

I think he’s going to lay low and endorse no one. He won’t want to do like Santorum and risk endorsing someone who flames out the next day.
