If he did, he’d tie up traffic for hours.

Christie: I’d Rather Jump Off A Bridge Than Serve In Congress

Does the East River have an anti-flood tidal barrier like the Thames? If not, I strongly suggest that the City take a proactive stance and consider installing one in response to Christie’s veiled threat.

What a coincidence. We’d rather you jump off a bridge and not serve in Congress either…For once, we think alike. Btw, didn’t bother to read the article…just the headline was enough for me…

What bridge would that be Mr Governor-who-ties up-traffic-out-of-petulance?

Please proceed, governor…

So would that be before or after he closed the bridge for some political vendetta?

He’s smart enough to know that as a "moderate " northeastern Republican, he’d wield exactly no power in the House. With his ego, there’s no way he could live with that.

who said he doesn’t have a long term career plan?

Can’t he pick another bridge? Red Hook, where I work, has barely recovered from Sandy yet.

I’d pay to see that!

Shit! I agree with him! I’d rather he jump off a bridge then him serve in Congress too. But alas it looks like a bridge is going to jump on him instead.

Well, it’s good to hear a Republican admit how much Republicans suck in Congress. But the solution to that and every problem starts with throwing Republicans out! Not with electing another one! And certainly not the arrogant prick who thinks he’s going to whip the tea baggers into shape like some kind of tough-loving eighth grade principal!

Rather jump off a bridge, eh? Quickly, everyone, how can we get Christie elected to congress?

the vote seems to be in FatBoy… please don’t tie up traffic into NYC…

I would rather he jumped off a bridge too. There are plenty of bridges in NJ. He doesn’t have to go all the way to Brooklyn.

So he wants to be president of the nation, but even though he is happy to be the governor of NJ cesspool politics, he wouldn’t want to serve in the legislative body that deals with national issues? Bozo.

Christie’s lawyers have advised him against mentioning “the-bridge-that-must-not-be-named.”
