Christie said that he had worked as governor with Republican legislators to reform the state’s pension and tenure systems.
“That shows I can keep the Republican party together,” Christie said. “Maybe they should send me the House caucus to try to help them with that.”
“You’re not running for speaker now, are you?” ABC “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos asked. “I am not, sir, no,” Christie replied. “I would rather jump off the Brooklyn Bridge than be in Congress.”
A presidential candidate again contradicts himself, news at 11.
In pig Latin, istie Cray should ix nay on the idge bray.
In Christie’s own best interest, he’d do well to never mention anything having to do with bridges, gates, or traffic ever again.
Basically, he should stick with shouting down female teachers and being rude to his constituents, that is his bread and butter and all that he was ever ‘legally’ good at.
CC is so tone deaf and dumb. What’s the point of this remark? He wants to be president, and must work with congress, so he plans to go in ATTACKING? Something is wrong with this man.
Now we know he’s thinking of life after being term limited as Governor, having a failed Presidential run to stave off his own indictment. and has given up on appointing himself to Robert Menendez seat should he not survive his own indictment, which may be coming down the road anytime. He has the power to appoint himself as a Senator should anything happen to take Menendez out…but at this point, all of NJ would be livid if that happened.
So what’s a failed Governor to do? Become a fucking lobbyist for electric and gas companies, you moron. He’s done it before. He worked to deregulate the industry in NJ for a short time from any type of consumer fraud protection, so they could continue to make as much money as possible without any threat of a lawsuit. He really is a despicable human being.
I hope he ends up behind bars for a goodly amount of time. He deserves no less.
This guy is no moderate as far as I am concerned. - He s a “MINO”.
Ask any New Jersey resident - especially the state workers.
He did exactly what Scott Walker did in Wisconsin - only he did not call it union busting so as to avoid the attention. But I can tell you their pensions are busted. To give some credit, it was not just his handiwork, several former NJ governors set the foundation.
