Nothing’s going to change.
Bravo Senator Murphy. Now is the time to speak - as it IS out of respect and grief for those whose lives were taken yesterday, and in each of the other deadly assaults to which you refer, and out of respect for the grieving families, friends, communities and country.
Trump says this is a mental health issue. Perhaps he could at least treat it like the opioid crisis and declare mass shootings a public health emergency. Then it could be attacked with a massive advertising campaign: “Just say no to Mass Murder.” Like the opioid crisis, hardly adequate but possibly better than nothing since nothing is what we are going to get anyway.
He can task Jared Kushner to “look into it”.
Amen, Senator Murphy. Amen.
Thanks Senator Murphy. Now we’ll see if indeed they have ‘SHAME!’.
Asked and answered. Endless times.
If people like Murphy do not continue to speak up, one thing is certain: Nothing will change. If those who oppose insanity about guns do continue to speak out, then someday change will come. We don’t know when, but eventually sanity will rise to to the top.
As soon as that Saudi coup wraps up with new rounds of financing for Kushner properties though. You know, priorities.
My thoughts and prayers are with Chris Murphy as he, once again, pounds his head on his desk achieving nothing but a headache and ridicule from the right.
As for this Sunday’s victims? I no longer care. It’s not news. It’s just another day in conservative America. You get the country you deserve.
Meanwhile, Alex Jones is busy either blaming Antifa or calling it a False Flag, or both.
Because he’s insane and is the voice that inhabits Donald Trump’s head.
Lets be honest about it: Ammosexuals are right that gun control is useless. We do not need more laws, we need less guns, we need disarmament.
Nothing will change until conservatives are gone.
GOP: We do not believe in Gun Control. We are Pro-Life.
So what? It’s not an excuse to just throw up our hands.
He’s in my top 5 candidates for '20: Brown, Harris, Gillibrand, Booker, Murphy. Others include: T-Mac (if VA Dems win on 11/7), Cuomo, Bullock.
I think there is a better than fair chance that Schiff is seriously contemplating a run, as is Gabbard. There will also be multiple dark horses and “second tier” candidates tossing their hats into the ring. Its going to be a very busy 2020 primary for Democrats.
NOTE: I don’t think Sanders will run, but will try to play kingmaker on the left. I am leaning against Warren running, but would guess there is a higher probability for her than Sanders.
Oh hell
Must disagree. No voice inhabits Donald Trump’s head except for “Who can I blame for fill-in-the-blank”?
I think her actually running depends on how much allegiance she pledges to Bernie. But I have little doubt she is seriously considering the run.
