Christie swiped the lap band off the surgical tray when the doctor wasn’t looking. And ate it.

Well I am a military veteran and I can say with certainty that whoever is pointing the finger today was using the same hand to waive all this away for a long time. You are tested for physical readiness every 1 to 2 years if you serve in America. You either pass or fail that test but skipping it is not something you can do unless your higher ups are allowing that. His superiors, including Christie, allowed this. He got busted and now they are yakking the “we did not know” shit. It’s hasn’t been all that long since Christie took the same excuse on the Bridge mess.
The guy in camouflage is a fat slob. You can’t look at him and say you didn’t notice that. I guess we should all thank Christie though for giving us a sneak peek at how he’ll handle the Commander In Chief thing.
