I encourage you to walk up to an overweight friend and tell them that they’re a fat fuck and need to get lost of the wilderness and eat berries and bugs for a year. I don’t think you’ll receive a great reception. Just telling someone “eat far less and exercise more” doesn’t often work. They know that already. The issue is a lot more complicated than it may seem to those on the outside of the problem.

I take this matter seriously and am taking the necessary steps to remedy this issue.
This is just a paraphrase of the standard blanket military response to any complaint about anything: “We’re aware of the problem and are taking steps to correct it.”

Well it’s obvious that the two of them never got into the same vehicle at the same time.
With the exception of a stretch limo or a wide-body delivery van. So Christie makes perfect sense. Just like Carson, Trump, Cruz, etc. etc.
Being a fat guy myself, I can totally understand how come Christie didn’t notice Gen Cunniff was overweght.

btw… as someone who has their own weight issues… my Dr discouraged lapband surgery because follow up research shows that people gain the weight lost back within 5 years… most people find a way to ‘eat around’ the lapband…
maybe FatBoy will be one of the exceptions… as much as I disdain the Blowhard Bully I can empathize with the health issues caused by weight…
I also recognize that empathize is a word foreign to most Republicans…

I was a 3-year EM in the early 1960’s and spent about 8 months at Ft. Bragg in a support unit.
We used to joke that we were in Beetle Bailey’s army because we had so many pot bellied NCO’s who looked like walking heart attacks. .

It’s biology. If the human body burns more calories than it consumes it loses weight. Do you think there were Jews in Auschwitz that said to their friends, “Damn, no matter how hard they work me and deny me sufficient food I’m still HUGE! I feel sorry for all you guys that look like skeletons, I must be blessed with a weird metabolism. You know, one of those metabolisms that defies all laws of biology?”
Well between Christie getting the lap band and Walker throwing our whole state under the bus, I thought the two were competing to expend the most effort impressing the fewest voters. Looks like Walker won.

Well I was an Infantryman and Recon soldier in Vietnam. Like all my buddies and fellow soldiers I was so shinny " I had to run around in the shower to get wet". We had no fatties. When I made E6 I was 5 feet 10 and weighed 140 pounds.
