This is precisely what happens when you have elected justices; let alone justices elected to a meager six year term in a partisan election. So you elect a super conservative partisan justice. Big surprise: he acts like a super conservative partisan justice. He is a politician, not a justice. Either that or he should demand a refund for his tuition at the University of Alabama. Obviously he did not learn too much at that august school.

actually, history finds that there was ultimately some degree of depth to Wallace - he was not one of my favorites and he will always carry the stigma from the actions that he took & supported

He parades as a Christian but he may well be Muslim. He swore an oath to uphold the constitution but apparently that doesn’t mean anything to him.

In all fairness, the bit about “render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and render unto G-d what is His” in THREE sections of the Good Book is a tough concept for many Protestants (and Rick Santorum, His favourite blumpkin) to grasp.
