Discussion: Cheney Throws Bush Under The Bus On Torture Program

Bush: Hey Dick, what’s this I hear about you keeping stuff from me on a need to know basis?

Sure, throw Bush under an imaginary bus. That fits right in with the imaginary WMD and make believe reasons for attacking the wrong enemy.
Cheney alludes to possibilities but never flat out owns up to the realities of why we ever got around to torturing anyone and the real fallout of their biased decisions.

Cheney just had to torture to obtain some excuse for his and dumb dumb bushes failures. No failure by them, no torture blamed on the US. Torture is the end result of the bush administration’s massive failure.
You know who else likes torture and the Cheney technique, ISIL, that’s who. The spawn of the cheney war for oil program.

The whole friggin’ war was/is wrong and resulting to the torture of human beings in an attempt to make it right is horrific failure upon terrible ineptitude.
Bush and Cheney are the worst team in American history and all busses should run them over concurrently.

Funny how he declares the entire report “full of crap” yet the article clearly states that he has not even read it. Please. This man is the lowest excuse for a human being I think I have ever encountered. He clearly has the heart of a Nazi and the morals of a pederast priest. I can only pray for Mother Nature to cleanse this infection from the body politic. He is truly a monster.

That might be the first time ever I actually believe something Dick Cheney said. Of course Bush knew about it. You’re all war criminals and need to stand trial.

“Now, watch this drive.”

Totally agree. Think what a big power move it was on Cheney’s part to pick himself as the best Vice President for Bush. He knew he was dealing with a brat who had no idea of what being President was all about. He knew this brat had to be totally guided and supported and so he…WENT for it. He knew that he could be the REAL President and he was. The best part? No responsibility. You can throw the brat under the bus later if you need to.

These days, however, he seems to be tipping his hand. Saying things like “there was no effort on our part to keep him from that” is letting the cat out of the bag. I guess it’s ego. He didn’t realize that the (W)onder boy would be laying claim to the accomplishments that he is soooo proud of.

Hey, do we want to be like them?

Cheney may be lying. Top CIA torture lawyer Rizzo has said, "“I have to conclude that the account in Bush’s memoir simply is wrong.”

Rizzo’s theory is that admitting knowledge he might not have had, Bush was playing for the team.

FUBAR

…When war criminals fall out.

“The notion that the committee’s trying to peddle, that somehow the agency was operating on a rogue basis, and we weren’t being told or the President wasn’t being told, is just a flat out lie,”

Teatroll Rosetta Stone says: “It’s all true. Every disgusting, pathetic, ridiculous, shameful, abusive, insane, racist, fascist bit of what the report reveals is 100% true and I’m extremely desperate to get you to not believe it.”

Dick Cheney: “We tortured people? Well, pardon MEEEEE.”

sadly, you are closer to the truth than would make me comfortable. When programs like 24 are popular, when Faux news gleefully described the torture we inflicted, our country has some serious problems.

Yes, Captain Sockpuppet, your pathetic Teatroll islamaphobe talking point argument is tortured.

Dick Cheney. Undoubtedly the slimiest, sleaziest bastard who ever disgraced the pages of American history.

If it was not under oath, it is not “testimony”. That’s why I said “interview”.

No, the Bushies were not behind 9/11. They were and are incompetent buffoons. If they were behind 9/11, there would have been at least one Iraqi hijacker on the planes. And they couldn’t even do a simple thing like plant WMD in Iraq. Too many people would need to be involved, and someone always talks. If you want to say Cheney ignored warnings thinking some kind of attack would give him a chance to somehow go into Iraq, that might be conceivable, but I doubt that too. Don’t confuse arrogance with intelligence, Cheney is not that bright when it comes to logistics, the Iraq war proved that. The neocons actually thought we could take the Middle East over like a board game.

Saudi connections and Pakistani ISI connections were covered up for business reasons. It was embarrassing. If the Bush Admin has planned 9/11, those connections would have been minimal, while Iraqi and Iranian ties would have been introduced.

I have been waiting a long time to see the other foot get shoved up cheney’s ass about that whole escapade he orchestrated starting 10 minutes after the 911 attack.
I have now lived long enough. Hopefully I can live long enough once again to see this piece of garbage get his due And I don’t mean dying. I hope this shit lives to be 150 years old and is tormented each and every day trying to be MR. USA when he really is the lowest form of life one in power can be.

And we’re supposed to be better than them but, unfortunately, a lot of us aren’t.
