Discussion for article #238237

So in addition to being a bad Governor, he is incompetent, too. Great combo!

It’s called getting burned by your own stupid. And it’s hilarious for others.

We were expecting him to act on these last Thursday when he was hanging out with Chris Christie, but he seems to have gotten distracted by that

That made me LMAO.

There is nothing botched about this.

LePage has basically declared war against the lege, even the Republicans, Expect to see more of this, and please pass the popcorn.

Except he’s been elected twice because of the crazy system they have in Maine with third parties.

Pretty much a requirement for Republicans.

Thanks again, Mr. Cutler.

LePage is on his way to being impeached…and pretty soon, it seems.

I’m not disagreeing with you exactly chammy but let’s be honest, after the first time, the people of Maine should have figured out that Cutler was throwing a HUGE wrench in the spanner. He wasn’t then and will never be a viable candidate. But Maine Dems still couldn’t get out and support Michaud. Just insane.

Holy cow, another incompetent republican. What a surprise! not.

You couldn’t write a novel this steeped in stupidity and expect anyone to read it. The GOP is pathetic.

bawahahahahahahahaha! hilarious

Stupid is as stupid does.

eta: As is typically repub, LePage ignores the rules. Rules are for controlling others and do not apply to wingnuts.

It’s the conservative way…

Third party and independent candidates are generally allowed everywhere. They just are more common in Maine. And in 2010 and 2014, such a candidate pulled a Ralph Nader and allowed LePage to get elected with less than a majority.

Perhaps he has been distracted by his pending impeachment.

Are there the votes to do that? And even if there are, who replaces him? If it is another Republican in the same mold, little if anything will change.

In the future I see…I see a consulting firm…with high name recognition and…and, yes, no quantifiable talent.

Penn & LePage: “No, We Don’t Know What We’re Doing, But We’ll Use Your Money To Do It.”
